Covers' new scoreboard layout ... what ya think?

New scores page sucks, go back to the old way or you will see a lot of people go elsewhere.

About an hour to 7pm tip and still have trouble loading the page.

just found another site which is what it is supposed to look like , no bloated logos and over sized useless boxes

I just signed up today and dismayed to find that the consensus-team experts picks can't be found easily on the scoreboard..have to click consensus and then another tab and can't go back after looking at it without viewing that same page. PITA...Horrible.

Oh, so here's where my freak'n scorepages threads disappeared to!

I didn't think of checking the "help" sub-forum.

I am very relieved to see that you've changed it back to the old format, as I'm used to it and have encountered the same problems that the guys here in this thread have alluded to; however, I do think that the new format can be fantastic, especially the "betgraph" formats that shows the flows of scoring in chart format ... wow!

So, can you (Covers' admin) provide a link up at the top of every score page to enable one to click on it to go to the new format?

A choice of BOTH formats may be very useful.

I know that you clearly spent a ton of time/money into creating the new format, so I'm sure that you must be rather frustrated with the predominantly negative feedback that you had received so far from the members here.

There are MANY features in the new format that do excite me, so I think that the best way to go would be to provide both formats by creating a link on top of every old sports page that would enable one to go to the new format if one wishes.

Thank you, Covers, for your effort to try to improve our abilities to cap games via the scores pages.

All of your feedback is greatly appreciated. Our team is working hard to improve the site in anyway we can. Suggestions/concerns will continue to be passed along to our design team. The changes will take some time to get used to, so we hope you give all of the new features a try.

Was so relieved to see things back as they were.  Sounds as if that may be a temporary deal, but I am hoping not.

Please please leave the OLD format.......maybe tinker with some other things to upgrade, but the majority needs to stay. I've read nothing but 90% negative feedback from the changes. If it's that lopsided with feedback that has to be considered from the users who use this site to not change things that drastically. Thanks

I really do appreciate that you have the old scoreboard system back.

What I'm hoping for is to have your IT team to put a link to the new scoreboard up at the top of the old scoreboard, so that one could click on that and use the new scoreboard, if one wishes.

Having both scoreboards running concurrently is the best way to go, I think, for numerous reasons, to wit:

1) The old scoreboard is familiar territory for many Covers users and it works quite well.

2) The old scoreboard loads faster, and that's better for people who are bit-challenged with their respective download speeds.

3) The old scoreboard works well showing the quarters/halves, which is a huge part of betting ... but I've not seen the new scoreboard in action, so I don't know if the new one also shows quarters/halves ... I imagine that it would.

But the most important suggestion here is to have your IT team set up a link to the new scoreboard on every old scoreboard, so that people can start to use the new one and uncover any other issues that you guys can tweak.

And even if you go with a default use of the new scoreboard, the new boards should always have a link to the old scoreboard, just in case one would want to use an old one for specific reasons.

IT'S HORRIBLE, CHANGE IT BACK NOW!!!! I won't be back until it changes back, whoever did this should be fired, Vegasinsider.com is similar to the old covers

Looks like the scoreboard has been updated to the new version again.  PLEASE CHANGE IT BACK!!  i love using covers, but will have to go elsewhere for scores if this new format stays.

Please give people the option to go with the old or new format!

We appreciate your feedback, but it is unfortunately not possible to have both the old and new versions of scores & matchups available. The new version is what will be available moving forward - we hope you will spend some time exploring it, and grow to love it.

Wow. Tried to give it one more try and simply pathetic. Beyond  horrid. Who needs all these pretty graphics? I can see four. Count 'em FOUR games on my screen at one time! That is unacceptable. Using it is a harder, more time consuming and just plain horrid.

Bad move. Will be he for forum talk, but will move on to a better site with a more user friendly scoreboard

The 'sort by' option is ridiculous....   yeah, I wanna sort the games by the lowest total.    

Who the hell came up with this thing?   Was there a contest for the kids employees to come up with the stupidest idea possible?

Lippsman: Unfortunately, the My Scores application has been disabled. You can keep track of all of the games you are interested in by clicking on the check mark at the top of the matchup. These games will then appear under ‘Following’ on the Hot Matchups tracker and can be sorted by sport.
