was this supposed to be some sort of "great call" or surprise pick.  He&#x27;s one of the best in League.  If you want to go QB #1 its your business.  I would take Foster in that spot.

nah I just like talking my boy A-rod up. Foster is good but Rodgers will get the most points again this year no doubt. No running game for the Packers means he throws 40&#x2B; per game again this year which seems to be the way we win so I love it. Though runningbacks are thin this year.

You could make a case for Rogers or Brady.

Brady couldn't have been far behind in points.

Man. It is gonna be hard this year to pick those top RBs. They are few and far between. I wouldn't even want the top picks. I'd take last pick in a snake draft.

MY question is how early does Calvin Johnson go this year. I took him at around 10 last year in two different leagues. Can he really go that much earlier? I think that'd be a mistake to take him earlier, but I'd love to snag him at 8-10. It would be hard to take him over a Brees or Brady at that point though.

@slikstiks, ive seen him go as high as #3 in a few drafts ive done... all it takes is one person who really wants him.... ive also seen gronkowski go #5...

im a HUGE aaron rodgers fan since he played at CAL... my only problem with him in FF is that he might not play weeks 16-17 cuz the packers will be tops in the NFC.... last year it almost cost me but i was lucky enough to get matt flynn

2Team--&#xD;&#xA;Interesting stuff. I foresee Megatron drawing double teams all year. If you look at the roster for the Lions you will see they are stacked with ballers. So many guys will look amazing thanks to Megatron...... &#xD;&#xA;Gronkowski... I don&#x27;t know if this guy is worth the early pick or not. He might actually warrant this pick. He was just unstoppable. &#xD;&#xA;Yeah, Rogers and the Pack being too good is worrisome. At least he is smartened up to avoid injuries. This is HUGE. I&#x27;m very confident that he plays all games. This makes him a viable first pick to me. &#xD;&#xA;Still hard to get sweet on those top RBss..

The Runningbacks are tough. Foster and Rice are by far the two best IMO. I am in a PPR league so I LOVE mccoy also. But runningbacks these days always seem to get hurt.. its crazy. Plus there are so many good backups in the nfl now. I was a HUGE fan of Charles for the longest time and now this year he has hillis behind him which i believes drops him 10-15 rankings. I am not sure what pick I want in the draft. I always like having 5-6 but I DO NOT want number 1-3. The number one pick I have is in a free league but I have my money league picks being given in a week or two

Also, what do you guys think about AP. Worth a decent draft pick or stay away?? IMO I will stay away but I have heard so many mixed reviews...

I would take Rodgers first overall. Tom Brady is also a logical choice. However, I am the biggest non risk taker in the first round. Plus my favorite league is 16 teams and it's the type of league that you really can't afford to miss in the first round. Injuries and average seasons happen all to often to these RB's. I wouldn't want to "miss" with the first pick, even more so than to risk hitting a "home run" with that pick.

The new Arian Foster is going to come out of rounds 3-6 most likely. Make the safe choice in round 1 and gamble after that is my philosophy.

A later spot in a snake draft will give you a chance to grab Stafford on the turn providing you got a good RB with 1st pick. Very high on him due to his easily leading the league in pass attempts last year.

I did this two seasons ago with Rodgers and Jennings and it worked out well in the regular season but bit me in the ass in the playoffs when Rodgers went down with a concussion against the Lions(my favorite team, talk about unlucky). I was wondering if anyone else has done this or have seen it done on a regular basis and wondered what the success rate of it was? I would like to have a sample size that is larger than my own experience with it.

I have a hard time seeing Stafford staying off the radar for too long, but it is possible with his history of injury. Man he&#x27;s  got a lot of weapons. I&#x27;d look into that O-line to make sure they can protect him.

Jordy Nelson is 1A. The packers pass so much that he and jennings will always be top fantasy WR&#x27;s. Finley had a bit of a down year last year and i think he has a HUGE year for TE. Victor Cruz showed his worth last year and Dez has all the talent in the world. All of these WR will be good. I LOVE AJ Green this year and I think he will be top 5 at seasons end.

Depends on the league scoring system, but you cant argue with Rodgers, Brees, or Brady. If you miss out on either of those 3 there is Stafford, Newton, Eli Manning out there who should be close in productivity. You gotta have a legit QB to win anymore.

Who were your RB&#x27;s that year?         [/Quote]I wish I could remember who my RB&#x27;s were that year. No one special, but no one terrible either. I&#x27;ve done a few mocks and I have realized that there seem to be some RB talent available in round 5-8(I do 14 team mocks because there aren&#x27;t 16 teams available on yahoo). Obviously I&#x27;m not speaking about top tier RB&#x27;s but there are potential TD vulchers like Hillis, Barber, LaShoure(sp?) etc. Now obviously these guys are a gamble and this strategy could easily blow up in my face. I think that if a person were to be able to get a top tier QB it could make up for a lack of production for a few weeks if these RB&#x27;s don&#x27;t pan out. I&#x27;m just floating strategy ideas out there really. Trying to find feedback because I don&#x27;t want for perspective than the one time I did this. Because ultimately, when Rodgers did get hurt, it did blow up in my face. But I did make the playoffs that year and the playoffs can be a crap shoot occasionally.
