Thanks for the info.
instead of Maia im looking at Maia/Kim "to go the distance", both are very good grapplers and i dont see either one finishing the other, mostly all of Dong Hyun Kim's fights go to decision except when Carlos Condit put his ass to sleep with a flying knee to the face in Rd 1 two fights ago.
In 8 ufc fights 6 have gone to the judges. Maia is a high level black belt and one of the best jiu-jitsu guys to ever fight in ufc and Kim is a 4th degree black belt in Judo, this should be a 3 round grappling battle
Ortiz/Griffin: this is Ortiz's last MMA fight and i just think he goes out with a W, griffin is a punching bag and takes beatings in every fight he's in, no way should this be that big of a line, the first time they fought Ortiz won by split decision and the 2nd time Griffin won by split decision so both were super close fights. i think tito will want this more and he'll want to go out on top with a big win in the final ufc fight of his career. at +200 or more depending on the book i think its a good price esp from what ive seen in the 1st two matches with these 2 guys.
Im gonna watch the weigh-ins and see if anyone looks bad or had a tough time making weight.. Maia is fighting at welterweight now (170 lbs) but he was originally a Middleweight (185 lbs) so i wonder how he did cutting an additional 15 lbs. he was just to small to fight at Middleweight even though he had a decent record but he lost 2 outta the L3 fights and both were to strong wrestlers (Mark Munoz and Chris Weidman)
I'll talk to u later Sparky
