Maurice Jones-Drew revealed Tuesday that his left knee was "bone-on-bone" by the end of the season, and his recovery from meniscus surgery is now expected to take four months.
The injury was initially described as a routine scope that would have Jones-Drew "back to normal" in short order. His clarification leads us to suspect the surgery may have, in fact, been microfracture in nature. Until sitting out the final two games, Jones-Drew played the whole season with a torn meniscus. It's fair to wonder if doing so will shorten his career in the long run. Torry Holt and Antonio Bryant were never the same player after bone-on-bone conditions related to meniscus injuries. Nothing but love from me for MJD. Led me to 3 championships this year. Even though he was MIA in the finals. Crazy how good he was with that kind of injury. Will be tough to pick him top 5 coming off the news.

At least when i offer you trades you have to think a little bit and actually say they are good trades but dont help you in the areas you need. You send me Pau for Lopez and Odom who has a shoulder thats going to fall off so you say. What were the chances i even thought about that? I will help you out. A BIG FAT 0%

Pau for Odom, Crawford and Miles is still there.  You can get rid of those bums like Charlie V, Foye, Brewer, Gibson and Delfino.

Odom, Crawford and Miles don't get me blocks so dropping Gibson would be a bad idea. Brewer has been playing well since starting and is a great steals guy. Foye is good for about a month while starting. Maybe he'll get some games in there. You drafted Delfino didn't you? He's off to a bad start but is getting the minutes...he could be a good pickup if he starts to hit his stride. Charlie V, since returning to the bench, has scored 15, 16 and 16 before getting hurt and is a good source for 3's.

Anyone send a proposal that was declined and you're thrilled that it was?

    Mine was Aldridge/Calderon for Gay/Mayo.

Hate to say it but i agree with this league. I miss head to head hoops. Roto you get the best team winning but there is just the same as talking shit in head to head and having the weekly matchups. I hope to have another hoops league next year and this will be the final roto league i will ever make.

Is there a way to limit player's positions. Like Pau is a PF and Center. Is there a way we could just make him a PF? Then we can get position limitations and make it more fair.

I really don't know how you could do a h2h league. I remember complaining about it and you saying the schedule makes it unfair. It's true. Pau gets 4 games while Love gets 2...it's not fair.

There has to be a way to make it even. 2 week long h2h matchups? Is that an option? I can't figure it out. There has to be some way to figure it out.

2-week long matchups or multiple matchups per week are two possible solutions.

Sparky, I saw you offered me a trade - I'll look at the details later today.
