Not saying Fuentes is the next Rivera, but if shitty Capps got dealt for Marcum, closers are valuable to a certain extent.

And the similarities between Norris and Greinke's #s are eerie

I didn't accept the deal for Gallado because you threw random closers in there. I knew Santiago wasn't going to keep the role. I doubted that Downs wasn't going to keep the job. But I liked Colby and he's gonna get a good number of wins/K's and Gallardo simply annoys me.

And just because one guy traded a good starter for a shitty closer doesn't mean everyone is going to view closers the same way. Just because one guy traded a 1st round pick for nothing doesn't mean anyone else will. Might as well continue offering those same guys those deals because they bit before.

You would have to offer something. I want a big bat for Hamels and knowing your stance on pitching for hitting, I'm not sure we could work something out.

Few notes:  
I really dont know any of you other than the few ramblings that you have had on here.  Obviously when making trades the best interests of my team is above any other.  However, I do look at need when proposing.  

Since I am new to this league, I have no prior knowledge of which managers likes which players, strategies ect.  I like to make moves, and usually when proposing my hopes is not to complete the deal I propose, but to get some sort of retort so I know players on my team you have interest in.  That makes it easier to make a deal.

Sparky.  Totally understand what your saying.  But 9 times out of 10 when someone makes a deal like that its to acquire closers, not for the SP.  Which is why I proposed the other deal.  

In this league Closers are a hot commodity a bunch even low tiered guys got moved for decent arms/bats.  

Obviously some deals proposed have 0 chance of getting accepted.  My goal is for a re-proposal and some sort of ground to build off of.

Cano, Upton, Hanley, Car Go, Others as well, but these off the top of my head...

What would you be willing to give with Beltre for Upton? What would i have to give with Upton to get Betre and Gallardo?

Honestly, not much.  Low tier sp or a rp.  Upton has more upside than Beltre, but there are very limited 3Bs especially with all the injuries. 

Beltres Hammy really only hinders him to DH which is fine.  Plus Upton doesnt seem 100% from the thumb.

Gallardo will equal holiday or bruce.  either one...  I really like Gallardo,  Think he turns it around.  Usually starts year slow.  Im a believer.  His stats of now dont prove what hes capable of.  (which he cant throw against stl)

You are putting Gallardo on the same level as Matt Holliday and Jay Bruce . Dont think i can continue this conversation and you show once again why it is impossible to trade with you.

I value him high which is why I went after him in the first place?  Why would I sell low on a player I trust and believe in?  I have little interest trading Gallardo.  A big bat would make me do that. 

I didnt say I wanted to trade Beltre and Gallardo, Only Beltre.  Which I am willing to do.  Beltre/Upton is pretty even.  I would throw in something small if your serious.
