I can't believe I just got Jurrjens as the 12 pick in in the Waiver Wire... Everyone passed on him

I was really thinkin about it but I passed. Not even sure how that would have worked though as I got Chipper first. If I went after Jair...would it circulate again and I'd get him the next time around? How does that work?

I'm actually a bit surprised I got Chipper at 10 though. I couldn't believe that many people have given up on him.

And of course not many people like to bring on FA unless they are offensive all stars. Like Hawpe for example. I picked him up when nobody else was. Someone said they were thinking about it but they were waiting. I guess nobody wants to take on injured guys. And then, of course, he wasn't pitching well before he went on the DL. Hope he does good for you though.

I've watched a few Braves games this year and Chipper is clearly playing hurt every night.... It's not about giving up on him, but this guy has been hurt for 3 years now, I just don't see him being very productive this year... .275 15 HR's  75 RBI's

Hahaha I dropped both Hawpe and Chipper.... Hawpe is a stud and i dropped him cause I had too,  I mean I'm not gonna sit Werth, Markakis, or Sizemore for  him or Vernon Wells or Gurrerro... He will put up great numbers though, thats a steal to pick him up

And I also noticed you dropped Beckham. Really hard to ride that guy as he does absolutely nothing for you. He won't steal a base on the rare occasion that he doesn't strike out. And if he gets on base...nobody will drive him in. Konerko and Jones seem to only hit solo shots.

HaHhaha yeah man,,, Beckham look sgood to he's actually on your team, than reality sets in hahaha... White Sox are crap, I got a nice bet in on the blue Jays tonight... Got a nice bet in on the Giants and Blue Jays too

no offense....but its Jiar jurrjens lol....he hasn't done crap this year and had 1 decent year, not really worth a waiver especially being on the DL

Jurrjens has had 2 great years in a row  14 Wins and 13 Wins  A career 3.38 ERA with a 1.2 WHIP, 138 K's and 152 K's... no offense taken... but Jurrjens is a better pitcher than about 75% of the pitchers people currently have on their roster... he's off to a slow start big deal, its a long season...

Houston Street is not for sale, especially for a guy like slowey who would be my number 8 starter or chatman who isn't even in the bigs and I have Starsburg... and I got Street in a deal for Halladay and Gonzo, no way I'm trading him for those 2

Last year he was 14 - 10 with a 2.61 ERA  1.21 WHIP  152 K's 


if that's a decent year, shit i"ll take 6 starters just like him
