whats with the fuckin cryin going on all of a sudden,NO STUNT WAS PULLED,  it was a bunch of Free Agent guys and vmart for Marmol/Storen, you and isteal need to relax a bit.. it was workin the system and rules a bit, nothing was said by me when you guys pulled off a monster trade so stop already Uriss..

 

**if people have something to say then we should have a vote by every manager for every single trade from start to finish next year, i didnt get a say in your trade's nor did i but in and say anything.

and isteal isnt gonna be allowed to Auction off his players, no way ManRam lets something like that happen.. 

It's not like it matters whether it's veto'ed or not since the trade deadline is among us. But like I said in the league, why does it problem with it?

URISS -- If I you had no 2nd baseman...and I offered you Rickie Weeks for 2 moves...are you saying you would decline that because I have no moves left even though it would help you?

 

I mean seriously...if I was sending private messages to phillyfan to work this out, and he dropped Wuertz and picked up Wallace, without anyone even bringing up the concept of a "sign and trade" would you care? No...because the outcome turns out to be a trade. It's not like he "threw in" Wallace as a favor. He traded Wallace to me for Storen.

There is no reason for calling anyone out from anyone. I see both sides of the argument and everyone else has to as well. On one hand you have the people saying sparky used all of his moves and he should not have access to the free agent pool. TRUE. You have sparky who is not breaking any official rules by what he is doing and getting by at all costs. TRUE. You guys have to understand while running the league i am always put into the middle of all problems and i am always going to have someone upset at me. I hope everyone can understand it and realize why i had to make the decision.

it doesnt matter sparky, its grown men worrying about other people's business when they shouldnt, if the commissioner had a problem with it then he would of declined it and ManRam can pick out a "shady deal" and obviously he didnt see anything wrong with it, sparky's 1B guy go hurt and he needed a FA guy, i needed a closer then once we got talking i didnt need uribe and figured he could use a multiple position guy to fill any holes or injuries from now till the end.  in the end it was a multi-player trade with 1 guy coming from the FA list and i highly doubt any of you were after Brett Wallace anyway.. 

istealcable wont be allowed to "auction" off his guys, now thats gettin' a bit crazy..   

 

All it was, was a loop hole.

Now what if I WERE to trade for Thole (hypothetically speaking). Would that trade be declined? Or any other trade for a player just picked up? I just want to know so I don't waste my time if someone picks up a guy I'm interested in.

Now I have to figure out who I have to drop when Pena/Silva come off the DL.

And by the way...it doesn't matter what trades I make. I'd love to know the mathmatical odds that I actually have at making the playoffs.

Its cheating the system... maybe you shouldn't use 80 moves with 5 weeks left in the regular season

All I'm saying is that if I have a guy you want, and the only way to get him is by getting someone off free agency, you wouldn't do it to make your team better because it's, as you say, "cheating"?

All you have to do is worry about your team. It's not like I traded Cargo and Cruz for Kuo.

I disagree, why make a "moves rule"  if you are allowed to use "loop holes"... I honestly don't care, its just annoying

Final Say:

"Abusing" the system would be what I was trying to do. I wanted to drop Rauch and have someone pick up a player for me. Nobody did that. So I moved on. Storen is a respectable player, a closer who will get you saves, and saves is a catagory that everyone wants. I traded HIM for a free agent. If I traded Rauch for a free agent, I could see where you could be against this.

I ran out of moves that allowed me to drop my worst player to pick up another. However...I still have the ability to trade a player that someone else wants (that I wouldn't drop otherwise) to get a player that they don't mind giving up a move for.

 

But as stated...I'm not making the playoffs anyway so none of this matters.

Well...make that 2nd because Jose Bautista is the best.

YO MANRAM I'm confused

Are there 2 different fantasy football leagues or just 1???  Look slike I am in both leagues...

2 different leagues. All the guys were left out from last years league so i made one fot them as well. 1 defensive players and one teams.
