OK let's get this week started... 6-4 now in both leagues.  The dynamics of playoff teams in the league I have been posting are not all determined by record but also the amount of points scored.
 
 Looks like I may be moving from #5 spot to the #2 week which is huge as it offers a bye for the 1st round playoffs.  Won't be easy to maintain as I have to play The #3 and #1 teams in the last 2 weeks of the regular season for a second time.
 
QB Brees at KC #24 Pass D versus Warner at Seattle #31 Pass D. Probably will go with the QB here that will have better weather conditions on gameday.
 
RB's I'm going to stick with main #1 and #2 combo even though Barber has to go against #6 Wash rush D, Chris Johnson has better matchup against #20 Jax Rush D... On the Bench McAllister and L. White
 
WR's Looking for 2 ...Looks like Calvin even with a bad matchup and dDiver in my mind.
 
Calvin Johnson goes up against Carolina #4 Pass D ..Ugh
Matt Jones against Tenn #12 Pass D
Mason against #2 NY Giants Pass D 
Driver against #30 Chicago Pass D... Me likey
Henderson and R. Williams ... Fugetaboutit
 
TE - New All-Star Bo Scafie 10 receptions last week and a TD

D Minnesota versus Tampa ... Who you guys like here leaning Tampa.

I am liking Warner for your plays, they totally commit to passing the ball
WR Calvin Johnson 3 factors in CJ's favor a bomb at any point of the game to him, possibility of garbage time yards, no other options in Detroit and Driver

I like Tampa in this game

if you need a def and they are out there indy. might be good they have to win. and their schedule is vs hou, at sd, at cle, vs cinn, vs det, and at jax. i just picked them up what do u think

Homegrown - I like Garcia against that suspect pass D of Minnesota.... For option #1
 
Garrard has a tough matchup against Tenn I think I pass with him this week. San Fran pass D looked pretty weak Homegrown against Arizona, not sure I can trust Hill yet, I think I go with Bulger especially with a banged up SJax, Needs to air it out with Holt and Avery IMO
 
 
2nd question- Norwood is available to be picked up Blind Bidding tonight?  Anybody think he would be more valuable to my team and keep someone else from using him, versus hanging on to Devery.... Thanks

No that Colston is BACK actually making plays , Henderson will only be the 3rd/4th option .
 
Norwood gets 6-10 carries most games .. 1 or 2 catches -i'd rather have Norwood.

BustinPiles - I would definitely go with Warner at QB.
                 - Agree with your RB choices and CJ + Driver at WR.
                 - I'd go TB defense.
Where do go to get your rankings/stats?
 
I'm in first in my league but have tough competition and some shitty choices to make at QB and WR.
 
Leaning towards starting Thigpen vs New Orleans unless the weather looks to be horrible in KC.
Other choices are Rosenfels @ Indy
                           Quinn @ Buffalo
                           Orton @ GB
Need 3 WR's
Cotchery
Colston
Roy Williams
Breaston
Avery (although he may turn into Michael Jenkins if I get my waiver claim tomorrow)

Wow 2 votes for Warner  ... Let's face it both of these guys are putting up some sick numbers and argubably the 1 and 1A of pro QB play. Brees last two games 28.95 and 27.10.... Warner's past 3 games 26.05, 25.10 and 28.4.
 
As I said I'm going to make my decision on weather conditions, but appreciate the input. 
 
Clutch- I use NFL.com  Look under stats for teams... Breaks down defense and offenseive production by pass/rush or total D and O.
 
How in the heck did Cotchery only end up with 2 points last week and the Jets hung  a big number on the Lambs. I think he will be called on to do more against the Patriots.
 
Colston sighting finally.... better run with him again
 
Avery has flatened I would bench him now.... Breaston had some good numbers despite Boldin being back on the field. Decent 3rd option.
 
Jenkins has had 2 good weeks in a row so maybe he isn't just a 1 week wonder, I'll add one that you might want to look at Amani Toomer he may get more involved in the offense caught 5 balls last week and I think as good as the NY giants ground game is may struggle against the Raven D.

Oh Thigpen looks to be the best choice at QB... New Orleans D took another hit Mike McKenzie the Saints best cover corner to IR with broken kneecap... Add that with the loss of the rookie corner they had to open the season... Even the KC Chiefs should be able to get the offense going this week. Also heard LJ should return to the lineup for balance.

Colston and Cotchery are must starts for me.
 
Still debating between Breaston and Roy Williams. I will strongly consider Jenkins against that Denver D if I get him.

BTW to add to my opening remarks after the scores and points were awarded I am in a 3 way tie for the #2 spot.. Total points is tie breaker so actually in 3rd for the moment.
 
One division is week and putrid and will get an auto bit for winning division of 4..... I am in a battle with really 5 teams for 4 spots. The team that is #1 is not going to be caught... Never has a week where he scored under 100 points. His team has had injuries to with Westbrook, Bush and acquired M. Moore (lucky bastard)after I waived Mendenhall after the season ending injury..McNabb/Rogers at QB TJ/Roddy White at WR Gonzo at TE.
 
Going to need the fantasy gods help to defeat him twice ... to end the regular season and likley again in the playoffs.

Really big game for me this week.  Im sitting at 5-5 and play one of the guys at 6-4, plus we have a side bet for game and season so a lot on the line.  

QB: Thigpen vs. NO, Garcia vs. Minn, or Quinn @ Buff

RB: Westbrook and Bush @ KC or McGahee @ NYG (also have buckhalter and rice incase of injuries)

WR: Fitzgerald and Braylan @ Buff, Roy E. Williams @ Wash, or Holmes vs. SD

TE: Daniels

K: Elam

Def: NYG

A couple things could change barring injuries so I will check back later in the week, but what are your initial leans.  Luckily in my league you can change the roster up until 5 minutes before each gametime

I am sitting at 7-3 right now but tied for 1st. Two games seperate 1st place and 3rd place. I need some team advice.
 
Rivers vs Pitt or Thigpen vs No
I can start 3 wr's
 
White vs Den / Holt vs SF / Housh vs Phi / Moore vs KC/ Ward vs SD / Roy Williams vs Wash.
 
I know I am starting White but really confused on the other two.

           I would definitely use Ward then either Roy Williams or Housh.

You don't like the avatar? Thanks for the info, do you really think that Romo will play at a high level and will Williams be a part of the game plan. Housh will get me the regular 5-7 points and Crazy legs Fitzpatrick can't seem to get it to him in the end zone. Wiliams height is very beneficial for red zone as Romo threw to him in his 1st week as a Cowboy. What do you think about Moore especially if Bush is still out, he may continue to get those small passes and could always break one

Loco - Lee Evans is the number one target for Edwards where Colston has a lot of competition. I am seeing that Moore is still getting 13 targets a game. This does not even begin to mention the looks that Colston loses to Henderson and when Bush comes back he may only get 6-8 looks and into Double coverage. I don't think Buffalo has all those options. You don't make a WR the 3rd highest paid and not work the game plan around him. So NO I would not make that trade.

should i start farve tonight against new england or try hasselbeck vs ari. shaun hill threw for 2 tds at ari last week. and to me this is a must win for sea if they want to make playoffs

Loco- I wouldn't trade Lee Evans for Colston... I've been kind of down on him this year.

MEMO - your avatar is distracting because I DO like it. It's impossible to know which of the Saints receivers will be the "hot" one from week to week which is very frustrating (I know I have Colston). Not a good spot for New Orleans in general. Fourth straight road game, playing outdoors in what could be cold, crappy weather. Tough choice for you this week, go with your gut and don't overthink it.
 
For my team, I'm going with Thigpen at QB.
 
Got my claim on Michael Jenkins and am going to start him over Roy Williams.
