This is like a bye week for me as I am pretty much locked in as the #3 seed. If Driver had got one more catch this week, could have proved to be a very big week in challenging for the #2 seed.

Anyway no roster questions for me, but Keller has been promoted to my #1 TE over Scafie. He is getting a ton of looks by Favre, and with the talent in the skill positions seems to be getting the weaker coverages....

I am officially going to drop Deuce ... Writing is on the wall Bush probably returns this week and Pierre Thomas has a grabble on the #2 Rb position, plus likely to be suspended for the diuretic with the banned substance. I'm going to use this spot to pick up a 2nd Kicker. I've had Akers for a few weeks but the Philly O has gone south, looking at some indoor kickers ... Guys worth a look Elam, Longwell . Also available Lindell, Feely, Nedney.  Such a crapshoot here anyone like one of these guys better over the others.

Looks like you're in good shape. I'm hoping to lock up the #1 seed this week and have some tough decisions to make.

At QB - Orton @ Minnesota or Thigpen @ Oakland (leaning Orton)

At WR - Colston and Cotchery are in. For my third it's between Roy Williams vs SEA (no), Michael Jenkins @ SD (probably), and Mark Bradley @ OAK (second choice right now, he's nursing an ankle but is expected to play).

DEF - Pitt @ NE (they haven't been producing points the last few weeks)
GB vs CAR (just picked them up to give me another option)

Thanks for everyone's help/advice throughout the season.

I think I go Orton... But honestly think Minnesota wins this game by DD. They outgianed this Bears team by a significant margin in total yards in the earlier contest.

I think I take a chance with Bradley against the Raiders.

I think I still go Pittsburgh D even against the all of a sudden offensive juggernaut of the Patriots with Cassell putting up big numbers last week.

Congrats Bustin.  I locked in my playoff spot as well. i am currently tied in the last position but am the leader of the group in 6th position with my point total.  A win this week and the guy ahead of me loses, would bump me to 5th and thats the best i can do. A loss this weekend could make me play the #1 or #2 seed. I beat the number 1 seed this last weekend but would like to wait till the second round to play the top seeds.

I too am going to drop Deuce. I have good RB's now with Slaton and L. Johnson and S. Jackson on the Bench. I hope he comes back this weekend and gets some good playing time so i can use him in the first round.  Im good at Def. with T.B, TE with Gonzo, QB with Warner, but im weak at WR. Got R. Moss, Evans, and D. Jackson whom are all streaky. Jackson and Evans are poor for TD receptions and Moss doesnt get a lot of yards, but does get the TDS. With Cassel doing well, Moss was a great pickup a couple weeks ago. Hopefully Edwards gained some confidence this weekend with the Buff passing game and will get back to tossing the ball to Lee. McNabb needs to figure shit out in Philly to get the ball to Desean. Other than that im ok.    I have Bironas as my kicker so i could look at picking up another kicker as well. Maybe Kris Brown?

I would go with Thigpen at QB just because of the spread style of offense that he is allowed to play.  I would play Roy Williams this week because the Seattle corners are very undersized compared to the 6'4'' 220lbs [i'm taking a guess] guys like Owens and Williams.  I would play the Green Bay defense because I think Jake Delhomme will probably continue to turn the ball over on the road.  Its a tough call to play the Pittsburgh defense because the Patriots will probably spread them out.

But I'm losing my league right now.

yea, this week means nothing to me except for one league that is about playoff positioning, so it should be a relaxing week.

One thing to consider for playoff people is start looking at next week for defenses and kickers that have good matchups...not only for you but also for cock blocking purposes. Alot of people don't like carrying two kickers, but I am all for it. Kickers are a position that get overlooked but can easily get you double digit points....outscoring major positional players.

Get a jump start on those first round matchups.

In your 1st pool I was trying to figure out why you benched Gore... I see he goes against Buffalo, I'm not so sure Addai is the better play looked to me like Rhodes was stealing carries.

I'm fine with the rest in pool 1 - I think Minn D is the play this week at D, really outplayed Bears on the road in a flukey game I think they avenge the loss here. I think carolina walks into a hornets nest against the Packers personally.

I think I'm Ok with your leans in pool 2.

    Bustin-Happy Thanksgiving !

    So I've won 5 in a row to reach 7-5 .
If I win , I'm the division champ and get a bye .
If I lose , I could be out because of poor division record etc .
    Starters :

    Eli at QB
    LT and Ryan Grant
    Boldin
    Colston -Strong Lean

Must choose 1 from Leron McClain, Leon Washington, Desean Jackson, Chris Chambers, Michael Jenkins ...
    '
I could also drop 1 and pick up Anthony Gonzalez

    K  is Crosby
    Def is Dallas

I'm going with Orton at QB and going to take a chance with the Packers Defense.

Am I crazy for considering sitting Colston and playing Cotchery, Jenkins, and Williams? They are all playing some of the worst D's in the NFL. If I wasn't in first I doubt I'd consider such a move but feel it might payoff.

I play in a 1/2 Point per reception league. That being said, who do I start at WR and WR/RB. Here's who I have to choose from:

    Wes Welker v. Pittsburgh
    Bernard Berrian v. Chicago
    Kevin Walter v. Jax
    Tim Hightower v. Philly
    Justin Fargas v. KC

Pick a WR and a WR/RB to start.

Gotta go with Welker. Especially in a PPR league.

I'd go Fargas or Berrian for the other.

Last pass here probably until after Thanksgiving games... Trying to wrap the office early today.

umgmu- I might consider dropping Chambers not sure that his production has picked up since the injury last week I saw them throwing the ball primarily to Vincent Jackson and Floyd.  I think right now I would rather Gonzalez on my team and in that flex spot over the other choices.

Clutch- If I had been a Colston owner I would be frustrated, just seems like too many options plus Bush should return this week. You know if you sit him it will be the week he goes off too   BTW.

In my league I had the choice of drafting Colston, Brees or Bush.  I obviously made the right choice you have to choose the head that makes the machine work.... They can lose every piece of the offense except for #9 and it keeps on running.... Brees goes down they won't win another game this season .

I honestly think they will still make a run at the NFC South and like them against the Bucs who struggled early in the past couple of games against  poor teams, the loss of Graham is going to haunt them IMO.

Gator- I agree with Clutch Welker and Berrian would be my choices

Gott a run see you guys after Thanksgiving

One other thing- I picked up Longwell this week and dropped Deuce.... I think I'm going to ride him as my kicker in the playoffs. Akers will still be a situational play but likely will have to battle some teams with a lot of Eagles so would rather him on the bench.

After a horrible week, my team sits at 6-6 and needs to win both of the last 2 games to make the playoffs as 6 of us are battling for the last 3 of 4 playoff spots.  Injuries have been killing my RB situation so here it is:

QB: Thigpen @ Oakland or Garcia vs. NO

RB: Westbrook vs. AZ and McClain @ Cincy or McGahee @ Cincy, Bush @ TB, and Pierre Thomas @ TB

WR: Fitz @ Phil and Edwards vs. Indy or Roy E. Williams vs. Sea, Holmes @ NE or Ginn @ STL

    TE: Daniels

K: Bryant vs. NO or could pick up Lindell vs. SF, Folk vs. Sea or Vinatieri @ Cle

    Def: NYG

Sorry got here late jw1ls- I think I go Garcia just because NO pass D has been vulnerable.... I still think that NO pulls a stunner here though Garcia may get picked 1 or 2 times.

Westbrook please say you played him.... Go with bush if he is active otherwise Pierre Thomas

Fitz hope you played him 2 Td's... I'm thinking Edwards and Ginn for the other choices.

Vinatieri can't believe he is available pick him up and start him

I dodged a major bullet last night. I got 21 points from Bironas my kicker and had a so-so game from Warner and a decent game from D. Jackson last night.  My opponent on the other hand had McNabb, Westbrook and Akers. Needless to say he started McBabb, but had Westbrook and Akers on the bench. He would have had 90 points from the 3 people from the Eagles..

On the other hand, this really pisses me off.  In another league matchup, we have 1 guy that is already out of the playoffs playing another guy that is tied with me and 2 others, so were basically fighting for a good position in the playoffs. Needless to say, the guy that is out benched all of his players and is not playing, so basically giving his opponent who is the 8 (last) seed a free win. He had Breaston and Fitzgerald last night that did very well.  Aynybody else have anyone in their league that has done this? Its BS and i may goto the commish if it affects me and others and have him use as least his last lineup

Sherman- That is utter horseshit when a guy shaves his team, to me it is about integrity. Whether you are the best or the worst team you put your best lineup on the field. I would make a motion to have him booted from the league next year.

I hope you pull it out.

Why wait until it affect you Sherman??
that is making a mockery of the pool and setting a precedent that others will do the same - let me ask you this come next year if the positions are reversed and your that guy out of the playoffs aren't you gonna feel almost compelled to return the favor??

This sort of stuff creates a shit storm of and usually never ends up making things right so your commish needs to act NOW!!!!!

give him all his obvious plays Fitz for sure, Breaston only if he was in his lineup the previous week

hey BP can you comment on my 3rd WR for this week who you like??

    Colston, A.Gonzalez, K.Walter

Colston seems the obvious choice but if you watched the game Monday night Bree's only targeted him once
it was the L.Moore show and Bush is back
not to mention they are still giving Colston #1wr respect and I dont think he deserves it
