My advice is to actually DROP guys like Sammy Watkins (he won't be good with Manuel at the helm, sorry), Riley Cooper and Kendall Wright (and maybe trade Kyle Rudolph is someone needs a TE), and pick up some high upside potential guys from the WW before they explode.
Examples of guys who have extreme potential and are worth more (in opportunity cost) than the guys I mentioned:
Travis Kelce (TE, KC Chiefs) -- The guy, and I've been saying this a lot, is like Gronkowski. For real. He has Anthony Fasano to pass, but in a keeper league, this guy will be legit. He will be the Red Zone guy in KC
Terrance West (RB, CLE Browns) -- Coach Pettine is a bit down on him at the moment, but he's the clear handcuff to an injury-prone Ben Tate in an offence that doesn't have a lot of weapons in the receiver position. Ben Tate will get injured, and T. West has the potential to blow up.
Carlos Hyde (RB, SF 49ers) -- Frank Gore hasn't missed a SINGLE game in the past 3 seasons. He's been hit, and hit, and hit again. This guy is getting old and he is looking to reach the point where he hands over the primary workload to a young stud. This is another offence that looks to be struggling in the passing game, so you can expect Frank Gore to take some serious abuse. Gore is 31, Hyde already had playing time with 1st team offence, and he averaged 5.87 YPC!
Lance Dunbar (RB, DAL Cowboys) -- DeMarco Murray is a workhorse, or bell cow if you will. He's also another guy who is absolutely injury prone. If he goes down, Lance Dunbar can step up and be a 3-down back if he can improve his blocking. Steal of a deal for a guy no one is talking about.
Justin Hunter (WR, TEN Titans) -- 8 catches, 164 YDS, 2 TDs in the pre-season. The kid is listed as the 3rd WR on the Tennessee depth chart, but with how well he did at camp then in pre-season, he will be the number one receiver in Tennessee this year, well well well above Kendall Wright. You'd never start Kendall Wright unless you had to, so this is just a clear swap in my opinion. Pick to win with you bench players, not to be safe.
Markus Wheaton (WR, PIT Steelers) -- Talk about your boom or bust flier right here. Replacing Emmanuel Sanders in the 'X' slot in Pittsburgh's scheme. He had absolutely NO rhythm with Big Ben in the pre-season and it was pretty clear in his route running and dropped passes, but you can see the potential on top of Ben's desire to feed him the rock. Watch him roast the stud DB Stephon Gilmore and you will see what I am talking about. They want to give Wheaton the ball, and if him and Ben can figure it out, things will go very well.
