this is a re-post off my 4th pick thread
again, this is a points league, 10 team
as usual, everyone lied, nothing went as planned, hell even cabrera who i thought i would surely get, went #1 overall..
round is in parentheses, i honestly think only 2 other teams can hang with my overall team, and one guy kept picking who i wanted at the turn with his back to back. pick #1 would have been ideal in this draft judging on who he got...round one went..cabrera, pujols, hanley, cargo, gay rod, tulo, adrian, halladay, longoria, crawford..guys like votto, cano and braun dropped big

3B- A. Ramirez (10)
OF Carlos Gonzo (1)
OF Ryan Braun (2) steal
OF Justin Upton (7) value but posey still around
UT Konerko (9)...... reach and i knew better
UT Pedro Alvarez (14) should be good slugging in pts league
BN Manny Ramirez (16)
BN Kendrys Morales (15) at this point worth the risk

my initial thougts were a lot of value i got with braun, upton, A. Ramirez, Morales who is coming off injury, but healthy is a 30 hr guy
my mistake may have been drafting upton, who i am high on and jumped at chance to get him in round 7, but would have preferred posey who went at the back to back spot 3 picks later. Pitching wise only regret is not taking haren who is a high k guy, but feel my depth in pitching department will win me this league.
reached a bit for cargo at 4, but dont buy a huge regression for him as i had him on all my teams last year and he truly is a 5 tool beast, while tulo injuries i just couldnt discount.
I put no weight on closers in this league, as you can tell i have none..so dont say you have no closers in point league, where one quality start or more can blow away rivera saving 3 games in a week. (5 win, 2 save, -2 blown save, 1k)
