man, its July 6th and you guys are drafting teams? Good luck keeping that team healthy in the pre-season.

I think you could do better than Randy Moss via trade...he's great sure but a bit old now...I'd trade for a king's ransom to some schlepp who thinks its 2003...

you will never get forte or turner for moss..unless you are dealing with morons...should package shaub and moss for a top-tier qb and middle of the pack wideout.

how do you get A Johnson AND R Moss AND A Peterson??

He could get AP with the first or second pick in the first round and then follow that up with Moss and AJ in the 2nd and 3rd rounds.  I have seen this happen in 12 team drafts.  Look at the rest of his team it is clear that this is likely the case.

As for upgrades.  I have to agree I cannot trust Schaub as my franchise QB.  A backup with upside yes but starter no.  I would try to move some players to get an upgrade there.  I think Moss will be just fine but not two years ago good (of course who is).  I am not a big fan of Lance Moore this year and think you could upgrade your third WR spot (perhaps Gonzalez is better there anyway being #2 in INDY).  BOL!

I am in a 10 team league, all friends. I had the 1st pick, of corse i took AP, then i had the last pick in round 2 and 1 st pick in round 3, grab johnson and moss with those picks since they was the only real options i had.

This team looks like a gold mine...to be honest with you.  IMO get rid of your second TE...they are a dime a dozen after the top 5.  I bet Carlson is still on board...if he is grab him. Pick up a backup QB and offer Bush, Shaub and Curtis/Moore for a #5 QB. Are you in a PPR..or Flex, if not.. no need or 6 WR on the team.  I always run 2 defs on my team, but they are worth a lot points in my league. Keep Gonzalez or LJ...hella sleepers poised for a good year

Like I said.. I'm not thinking about fantasy football until the last week of the preseason. Players get hurt and cut in the preseason. There is no sense in grading it now.

I'm not a fan of having two starters from the same team, especially a QB & a WR. Too easy for them to have an off night and get you minimal points. I would be looking at moving Shaub. Or move Andre or another top WR like Calvin.

You don't need two TE's. unless Witten gets injured, I don't think sitting him for Shiancoe is a good move. Plus the Vikings play Baltimore during Dallas' bye week. You need help in your running game. Bush MAY finally reach his expectations, and Johnson MAY return to his 2006 form, but both cases are unlikely. Get another RB. Get Chester Taylor if he's available...just incase something happens to AP.

Fair enough ..but why waste the time posting in this thread. ...BTW if any sort of a good fantasy football player you should start thinking about it at the lastest in May.

Nah.. I've spent enough time over the last 14 years to give me an idea on the next season.

I've been in the same HTH league since 1995 or so and I've taken home first about 8 or so times. I finished 2 or 3 a few other times. I've joined a total points league 4 years ago and I've finished 1st twice, 2nd once and 4th the other time. And I'm in a 3rd league with no money involved going on 3 years and I've finished 3rd in btb years, but, since it's no money, I don't spend much time on that league.

It's also difficult to grade his draft because we have no idea on the scoring method his league uses.

I also do well in my leagues because I check my allegiances and resentments at the door. I'll draft any player if I think he's at good value. A lot of guys will steer clear of players like TO because they don't like him personally. Me, nah.. I'm all about winning.

..and the reason why I posted was because I was bored.
