Joe Buck has always been a moron. How people like him get paid the money that they do to say the idiotic, uneducation, unoriginal, completely rediculious stuff is beyond me.

Agree, they were talking about Stasburg too, which is fine.. I guess. But they are making like it's a fucking reality show. It's the All-Star game for the BEST PLAYERS PERIOD. The fans already fuck up the starting lineup every year by flooding the box with homer votes and these people are just encouraging it. The fans should pick the reserves and coaches and/or players should pick the starters. I love Heyward as a Braves fan and Stasburg is awesome (so far), but give it a rest Buck and Tim. Sorry they really piss me off lol.

McCarver says that "it would be an injustice if Strasburg were not on the biggest stage in baseball", ie All Star Team. Are you kidding me? First off, McCarver is and always was an f'in idiot who just talks to hear himself talk. Nothing interesting has come out of his face since th mid 80's as a Mets broadcaster. But come on man, the kid has had 3 starts, 3!! Let's get real here.

I guess Fox REALLY wants Strasburg to pitch for Bud Seligs new reality show. I bet the Nationals, who are supposedly limiting him to 90 Big League innnings are like WTF. Even though that might sell alot of Nats hats.... It's stupid.

Last time I checked...Morneau was leading. But I don't know anyone who thinks Tex deserves it. The people who voted for Tex were the same type of fans who voted for Rollins. Ballot stuffing fans and the average baseball fan who votes based on the players' name.

The situation with Strasburg is, most likely, going to play out by having him involved in the "final vote" online where they give 5 options for each league on who gets the last spot.
I know this is "for the fans" but with so much at steak...they need to cut their votes. It's getting ridiculous.

No one should be there above Miguel Cabrera. It will just show how much more of a joke it is if there is anyone starting at 1st over Miggy.

Yep, I'm all about filling out the ballot with son at the game for all of the home team, but the legends that are about to retire will be elected by the coaches/players out of respect(Cal Ripken, tony Gwynn, etc.) and i'm fine with that. But the game shouldn't be filled with internet ballot stuffers(Yankees, Mets, Red Sox, Phillies) when other people are deserving.

Im sorry but if you ask me Strasburg gives the NL the best shot at winning. If the final spot is between lets say Jonathan Sanchez, Clayton Kershaw, Barry Zito, Roy Oswalt and Strasburg i really think he is the best out of that group

Plus last I check MIN still leading over DET in the division by 2.5 games
O we are going to start voting on who leads who in the standings? Come on now. Cabrera has 20 homers. 6 more than Morneau. Cabrera has 63 RBIs. 14 more than Morneau. Cabrera has 60 runs. 12 more than Morneau. You are really going to break this argument down with who has more errors to get into the all star game

But I'm not sure if a pitcher can be on that list. I forgot about that part. But I'm sure they'll make an acception. I don't think they'll allow him not to be on the roster (Bud Selig that is). He helps raitings so he'll be on there.
