ok heres the situation....9 teams...20 players each..we keep 5 on each roster from the previous season....scoring system is PPR im keeping 2 quarterbacks, 1 running back....2 wideouts...
scoring system is 1 pt per reception
qb 1 pt per completion/ 1 for 4 yards passing/ 4 td/1 per 2 yds rushing
rb 1 ppr/ 1 pt per 2 yards rushing/ 6 rushing td + 1 ppr and 1 pt per 2 yards recieving
recievers- 1 pt per catch...1 pt for each 2 yards recieving.
we start :
2 QB/3 RB/3 WR/1 FLEX/1 TE/1 D/1 K
8 on the bench...no trades/no movement no waivers...wat u draft is wat you get.....
so my keepers are:
QB Phillip Rivers
QB Aaron Rodgers
RB Steve Slaton
WR Randy Moss
WR Calvin Johnson
So im picking 5th overall in the draft with me and 8 others. The players who are kept are not announced till draft night...(tommorrow) so i am only able to "predict " which players will be protected. Im guessing i will pick a running back FIRST....but if wideout option is there....(which i highly doubt a top 4-5 WR will be)
So here are my calculated options:
LT (will be dumped but im DEF expecting him to be drafted 1-4 BEFORE me)
Ray Rice ( i owned him last year....he didnt do much for me ...im dumping him but CAN redraft if i want to...tons of magazines are high on him for some reason)
Willie Parker
Donald Brown (future?? maybe available later rounds??)
Derrick Ward
Clinton Portis (i am also expecting him to be drafted in the top 4)
Pierre Thomas
Knowshon Moreno? (future?? maybe available later rounds?)
Jonathan Stewart
Lendale White
Ryan Grant (on my radar at the moment...unsure though)
Larry Johnson
Who here would be worthy of a first overall pick???
The wideouts that would be available are slim pickings.....
Anquan Boldin? Terrell Owens? Brandon Marshall? Santonio Holmes? Vincent Jackson? Wes Welker? Greg Jennings?
All recievers rated higher than these guys will be kept.
So what would YOU DO if you were in this position....who would you take as a #5 overall selection?
