BTW. I think IMO you should work on Weeks 12 and 13. Taking 2 road teams 2 weeks in a row is a tremendous risk.

week 15 the dophins at home against the jags is a much better play then washington at cleveland.

Onto week 11, still looking at Dallas...  Nothing set in stone.

seems like a really fun competition! never been apart of something like this...what is it called? seems kinda like a streak survivor competition?
is this amongst friends, or do you find it online? also i assume your just picking winners SU and not ATS since Pitt was a winner for you over KC.

It's usually called a survivor pool or a suicide pool.  I got into this particular one through a friend of a friend.  It is hosted online, if you want I can private message you the website.  I cannot get you in, though.  Sorry.  And yes, SU only.  This season was pretty crazy with most of the would be 'lock' winners going down in the first few weeks.  I was fortunate to avoid the slaughter.

Fade, I'm down to 13 in mine as well.

8 ppl had Steelers. You could say I thought my Pool was going down to 5 ppl... anyway, No one wins this pool without getting lucky. I did in week 3 with AZ over Miami.

I'm rolling with Dallas this week. Big win vs Eagles, Giants are sinking and on a bye. This is their chance to get 1 game out in the East. I was thinking of Bengels @ K.C. but I try to stick with 3 rules.

1) Try not to take Road teams

2) Stay away from Division games

3) Stay away from prime time games. It usually brings out the best in both teams,

I have an issue next week but i'm plugging in Dallas.

Well, I stuck with the Cowboys.  Already losing to the Browns 7-0...

I'm going to go ahead and accept defeat now and begin drinking heavily.

BigChris, we lost one guy this past week.  Down to 12.

I'm also leaning Denver, it's really hard not to.  Out of the 12 guys left, only 6 of us have the Broncos available.  I'd have to assume that all of us would pick Denver this week.

I've already used Cincy so they're out for me.  Seems like a good pick on paper... My concern would be Carson Palmer maybe out for some blood against his former team?  I also think the 8 point spread is a bit of an over reaction to McFadden still being questionable.  Maybe I'm over analyzing...

Indy is on my lean list this week as well.  Seems like a big gamble, though.  Not sure if I'm ready to take these big risks yet.

I know none of the Thanksgiving games are happening for me.  I'll probably end up playing it safe and going with Denver.  They would be my first road team picked this season.

Like I said, only 6 of us have them available so my hope is that only 6 of us are left after this week.

If Peyton somehow loses to the worst team in the league then so be it. I know this breaks a golden rule; never take a road team in a divisional game, in Manning I trust.

I had Bengals yesterday...

We didn't lose anyone. We still have 13 ppl left..

Things are starting to get hairy. We will both lose a few this upcoming week for sure.

Jets may work out, but how many games can Arizona consecutively lose?  

Also was thinking about Buffalo and New England.

In my case, I will most likely take the Patriots.  Mainly because the next two weeks after this they play the Texans and the Niners and I'm certainly not going to pick them in those games.  

In any case, you can forget about that schedule that I have posted on page 1.  We're going one week at a time from here on out.

I went with the Patriots....I just can't go down with a Jet pick you know? We wouldn't be able to use them until week 16 vs jags anyway... i can't hold them that long..

Yep.  Putting my loot in Brady's hands as well.


I can't see who picked who until after their respective kickoffs.  But I do know that only 3 out of the 12 people left have the Patriots available.  Let's hope there's only 3 left after today!

Two weeks in a row I'm taking a road divisional opponent...

OK, this might prove unbelievably foolish... BUT, I'm switching to Detroit over Indy this week.



For some reason I am not trusting New England this week on the road with 2 big games on deck.  Miami has a great chance to play temporary spoiler here and I think they give it their all.
