I say you have different rules for the postseason. Lock everyone. If someone gets injured...they're tough out of luck.

Only point to make here sparky is this and you will find nothing to argue against it.
A good LB is 8-12 points per week. 8-10 tackles, a pass deflection. Now thats a normal day. Something you get every single week. Now on the high end its 13 tackles, a sack, fumble force and a pick. Over 20 points. Low risk - high reward because you are guaranteed that 8-10 points from tackles
A good DL is 5 points per week. 2 tackles and a sack FROM THE BEST DL. If no sack you are F'ED with 2 points on the week. On the high side. 4 tackles, 2 sacks, fumble force. 12 points on the high side. You may get that once a year from one of your DL and you have to be lucky enough to have him in your lineup that day. High risk - low reward. You are guaranteed 0 sacks and 0 tackles from a DL. A bad week and you dug yourself a huge hole.
Just a little advice. Myself and Powerade and been doing these IDP's for years. Very rarely do you come across a lineman worth owning and i can only think of 3 in the past however many years. Jason Taylor, Demarcus Ware, Michael Strahan. Each were great fantasy wise for 1 year.

A pro compared to most of us in idp leagues. You and the commish have done this a few times. You have like 5 defensive guys in the Top 10 of tackles from last season. I took Hawthorne because of what he did last season and now realize he's getting less time because Tatupu is back. I really had no idea what his role is.

jesron has been dropping and picking up pitchers all season like this, it is frustrating cause he did it to me also when i played him but like Powerade said, he risk's a high era/whip for K's and W's..
i like what sparky said about locking the rosters at playoff time but if a guy has an injury u have to let him grab a FA.. i think it was 2169 who dropped like 7 different position players trying to get more stats on the last 2 days of his matchup with jesron last week. i think its BS when guys drop and add all then new guys during the matchup, i can see 1 if you have a guy struggling or injured but its gets outta hand with all the moves on the last 2 days of the matchup..

I disagree. Because what if someone is on FIRE come September and you lose a guy who happens to play the same position? Say JP Arincibia (sp?) goes on a tear and is an every catcher for September. Buck goes on the DL after going on an 0-30 slump. It's kinda like a reward for your guy getting injured. I say we should add another round/roster spot next season. You draft/make your roster with backups/guys who can play multiple positions so you don't have that kind of problem. It makes guys like Uribe, Prado and Infante THAT much more important to someone's team. It makes it more challenging...and the more challenging...the more entertaining.
But...that's just 1 man's opinion.

ya in that league i am 0-2. what am i going to do. 1 point from kolb week 1 and 3 points from campbell week 2. tough to win with that. Look at my team its stacked. Fantasy football is the biggest crap shoot of them all. 1 day and thats it. You could score the 2nd most points in the week and lose. Proving my point on why its so much harder to win the regular season title than the playoff title.
