I'm in a 16 team, standard scoring league with no flex position. I dealt my 3rd and 4th round picks for an additional 2nd and 12th round pick.
I'm currently slotted in the spots listed in the heading. I'm looking for suggestions on how to approach this i.e. QB/RB/RB or RB/RB/QB or RB/WR/RB etc.
Any advice can be player specific as well.
My initial approach is to take Rodgers at 5, Cobb or best RB/WR at 28, then Spiller or best RB at 32.
I'm open to any and all advice though. Thanks.

I will offer more detail later when I get home I don't have my rankings in front of me. Dont have experience in leagues beyond 12 teams, but I imagine it must me very competitive. What you cannot afford to do is miss on this early picks. Especially your first rounder.
I would urge you to reconsider drafting Aaron Rodgers at #5. I too have looked into drafting him as high as #1 overall. Thinking he would go out and have a record breaking type season. But the more I think about it and the more I study the league, its probably wiser to wait on QB. Now If I'm picking #9 or something like that, then I think A-Rod is the way to go. But at #5 you can have 1 of the 6 (although I have 4 that I would take; AP, Chuck, McCoy, and Forte) or Megatron.
With your second and third pick, I think you will need to go with best available player and someone who gets volume or is on a good team. At 28 I don't think your in the running for the Julio Jones or Montee Ball's of the world. But there are some really good players out there to round out your team. If you bypassed Megatron at #5 then I would urge you to take a WR in the likes of Cobb/Antonio Brown or Alshon Jeffrey, if available. Its a matter of preference here. If you're a gambler, and he's still available, I would take the positional advantage and grab Gronkowski. He has been hovering around 2nd round territory for the last several years and because of his chronic ailments all of a sudden he's dropped. That's because we are a "what have you done for me lately" type of society. That's something to think about.

Assuming the first 4 picks are, AP, Shady, Charles and Forte, I would take either Lacy or Megatron then BPA at WR or RB depending on weather you took Calvin or Lacy.

Thanks for the input guys. I'm definitely reconsidering the Rodgers pick. It looks like I can get a guy like Stafford in round 2. This league is pretty competitive and the draft gets pretty thin quickly, which is why I made the deal in the first place. Sounds crazy but moving up 6 spots for me seems like a bargain in giving up my 3rd and 4th round picks because the draft starts thinning out around that time.
I'm not huge on Lacy but I do see potential considering he is young and Franklin retired. He should get a bulk of work and that offense should open some holes for him.
I wish I could get one of the top 4 RB's at 5 but I really don't see anyone biting on Manning/Graham/Rodgers that early. I'm almost positive it's going to go McCoy, Peterson, Charles, Forte to start. At least that's what I gather in talking to people.
I do like the Gronk idea especially considering the drop off after him in the TE category. Seems like you're just playing the lotto after Gronk/Thomas/Graham.

My goal is to try and get 95 points per week. 90-95 points per week seems to be the amount that wins most weeks when I look back at previous years results. I figure 8-10 from a defense, 5-7 from a kicker, and 5-7 from a second WR leaves me needing 77 total points from the 4 remaining positions (no flex spot in this league). If a guy like Cam, Rivers, Cutler, or Big Ben can get me 20+ then I should be ok most weeks. I'm just trying to put myself in the best position to reach 90 points per week. Imo, at that point a majority of the rest is all luck.
