You seem to have a boatload of guys(especially RB) who spent most of last year on the IR. QB and TE are your strongest spots.
B- with more downside than upside potential.
Well, I don't think you can hold Fred Jax's injury against him. It was only a bone and he had tons of time to heal up. Guy will be good as ever.
The rest of the previously injured guys are all great value picks and something is sure to pan out. Crabtree has a much better Alex Smith to finally reach the elite level. Sidney Rice will likely have somebody to throw him the ball too. Emmanuel Sanders is a stretch but this guy has massive talent, I'll probably have to drop him anyway.
Maclin and Antonio Brown will give a nice combination of consistency and break out potential.
That RB position is stacked though. Watch Jamal Charles go down. If not they will baby his carries all season long. Hillis should be nice.
Lots of value in Jones too if Murray goes down.
LOL You guys are tough critics. Also, somebody wants to trade me the top kicker (I think Gostowski) for the KC D.

No reason to ever spend 2 top picks on quarterbacks. If you like Eli that much to spend a good pick on him think of the player you could of had in round 2 when you got stafford.

I echo Getty3's comments and that's why I gave you a C+ ...
You're strength is at QB with Stafford (assuming he's a starter in a 1 QB league) and Eli (assuming he's a backup) ...
Your next strongest position is TE with Gronk.
Your RB's and WR's are littered with marginal RB2's and RB3s. I don't see a stud RB or WR in the bunch. You will need some of these guys to have career years to compete.
Nonetheless, good luck.

Mike Wallace is continuing to hold out and the Pittsburgh Steelers should continue to allow him to do so because Wallace is not worth the money he's asking for at this point in time.
Wallace has refused to sign his restricted free-agent tender that would pay him $2.7 million in 2012. He clearly wants a long-term deal for job and financial security, but the rumored amount, greater than the eight-year, $120 million deal, he's hoping for is ludicrous.
Recent reports from Yahoo! have indicated that there have been little talks between the organization and representatives for Wallace because the two sides are far apart on how much Wallace is worth.
Wallace is certainly worth more than the $2.7 million he's being paid. Last year, he recorded 1,193 yards and eight touchdowns. It was the second consecutive 1,000-yard season and the second time in a row his yards per catch average has been 16 or higher(2010—21.0; 2011—16.6).
The problem is the Steelers' organization cannot afford to pay Wallace considering the offseason $30 million over the cap and had to make a variety of cuts to simply get under the threshold. Paying Wallace anywhere near what he wants could cripple the franchise for years.
Unfortunately for Wallace, he's essentially replaceable thanks to a couple of other receivers on the roster—Antonio Brown and Emmanuel Sanders.
Last season, Brown put up almost identical numbers to Wallace, except in the touchdown category (1,108 yards and two touchdowns, 16.1 average). Sanders would have put up similar numbers as well had he caught as many passes as Wallace.

The emergence of these two players makes Wallace expendable, especially if he continues to have high monetary expectations.
Another element working against Wallace is his inability to run more than a few routes. Granted, he is the most elite deep threat in the NFL—that's essentially all he has shown an ability to do thus far. Investing over $120 million, or more than $15-$18 million per year in a receiver with a limited route tree is a good way to run a franchise into the ground.
Wallace should take the hint from the organization that he's not getting paid. The lockout is doing nothing but hurting him in the long run. He has until November 13 to sign his tender, which allows him to be eligible for free agency next offseason.
While Wallace sits, there is a new offensive coordinator in town, Todd Haley, who is implementing an entirely new offense. Brown and Sanders will be taking first-team snaps throughout training camp as well.
If Wallace's holdout lasts into training camp, he's hurting no one but himself. He will be behind the learning curve of a new offense and have a reduced role because he missed camp.
What Wallace needs to realize is that if the holdout lasts much longer, these elements will lower his statistics in 2012, and he will be facing the same scenario again next offseason. If he has a bad statistical season this year, no team will be willing to pay him the money he desires.

I don't think you guys are seeing the bigger picture here. Mike Wallace holds out then I have the top two receivers for the Steelers. Meet Emmanuel Sanders the new Mike Wallace in that case. Steelers maybe pass more this year too without Mendenhall.
Nobody thinks something positive will pan out between Sidney Rice and Crabtree? Really?
I got ELi for dirt cheap as an insurance policy to Stafford. That is two of the top 4 scoring QBs last year if I'm not mistaken.
The best tight end doesn't hurt either.

Yes you got one of the top Qb's, but the pick of Eli was really bad. If you are picking a Qb that high in the draft, you shouldn't be picking his backup so soon. That draft pick could've gone to a stud receiver, instead of someone that will be riding the bench every week (unless Stafford goes down)...The thing about the Steelers receivers is that yes they could be good, but Wallace forces defenses to pay a lot of attention to him, and without him there, who knows how it will play out

Well, for what it's worth, I'm projecting a solid 100 pts in week1 while the rest of the teams are in the 91-97.5 range.
I know it's early, but this doesn't sound like a C-/C+ draft.
ManRam-
I'd work your ass over in a fantasy league. I'd do your league, but your sorry ass wouldn't pay me after I humiliated you. Well shit. Maybe the 100 bucks would be worth humiliating you.

No great running backs? Fred Jax was as good as anyone last year before he broke his leg. Guy is so versatile.
Bradshaw just got rid of Jacobs and will be getting into the endzone in bunches. Great receivers on the Giants to soften up the run too.
Hillis and Martin are starting RBs for the flex depending on who has the better matchup.
Yes, receiver is a little weak, but all I need is solid production and consistency from Brown and Maclin. This is exactly what I'll get from them too. Also, something great probably pans out from Crabtree and Rice, you'll see.
Stafford and Eli are both potential top fantasy QBs in the league.
Stop being such a hater. You should post your team. You aren't being subjective at all.

Yes, I did take Gronk in the first. The guy had such prolific numbers ly that I had to take him with the 10th pick. I know it is unorthodox, but the guy gives such a significant advantage at the TE position. Also, he is young and durable. The elite RBs and QBs were long gone by this time so this was the clearest advantage at any position that I saw.
I took Stafford bc that team throws so much and he has one of the best receiving cores in the league. Someone has to throw the ball to Megatron. I maybe should've used this pick for Cam Newton, but this is a passing league and Newton doesn't have the consistency of Stafford. Newton doesn't have that many solid targets either. Teams will put their best db on Smith and Newton will throw picks.

Im really not trying to sound like an ass when I say this, but it sounds like you are just talking up your team to make yourself feel better about the draft...there are question marks with every RB and WR on your team, but you are acting like everyone of those players will live up to their full potential (which won't happen). That being said, its a total crapshoot in fantasy sometimes, so who knows. GL

^ been in ManRam's leagues for the last few years in MLB, NBA, NHL and NFL and he always pays on time and is a great commisioner.. very fair and honest guy.. if u wanna attack him dont involve his intergrity especially since you dont know him like that.. our leagues are always competitive and we do $150 and $300 per league so put your money where your mouth is and join one of the leagues with us..

I don't necessarily have a problem with you picking Stafford/Gronk, but I feel like you could've passed on Stafford and snagged a stud RB/WR like Matt Forte/Roddy White. This is especially the case if you ended up grabbing Eli in the 5th round or so. I'm a fan of Fred Jackson, but if Forte was available, you should've grabbed him and then would have a nice 1-2 with Forte/Jackson. No need to draft two QBs so early when one has to sit on the bench. A lot of your "ifs" are going to need to happen for you to win it all this year, imo. GL.

I'm just trying to explain some of my logic after people giving C+/Ds when I know this team will be a contender. This discourse is actually fun and enlightening. My big money league hasn't begun yet so it is nice to "shoot the dirt" a bit. Also, I don't see any question marks with Bradshaw, Jackson, Brown, or Maclin. All these guys are super talented and have paid their dues. Please tell me how any of these guys are a big (?) marks.

I'm have absolute confidence that ManRam would pay YOU. Me on the other hand is another story. We dislike eachother. That sour bitch would pocket my 1000-1500 in a NY minute. It is a real shame though, I'd take great pleasure in whooping his ass.

Thanks for the insight. I really think Jones looks like the guy to take in ATL. Those screen plays with him look lethal. That guy can take it to the house if given a small window. I strongly advise you to take Jones over White. This is a viscious league and this is a changing of the guard.
Forte scares me a bit. If the knee doesn't bother you, then why not Adrian Peterson? Forte has a rock solid backup in Bush and I think they even have a decent 3rd stringer.
You are right though. I need a lot of things to go right. Ly I should have won this league, but Drew Brees had to inflate the score against ATL to get the passing record. Just goes to show you that no matter how well you draft, you still need some luck at the end of the day.

Like Doug Martin but not sure why you'd get those 2 QBs early, I assume one wasn't an 8th round pick, and neglect your WR position I know injuries happen but if both QBs are healthy and delivering I think you better be ready to trade one of those QBs to improve.
I think you took some big risks but if they pay off you'll be fine. Right now though I don't think any guys in your league are too scared of your team.

Well, I like AD as well and think he'll be fine, but I like Forte bc he can catch the ball well. Either way, you could have probably grabbed either one of those guys and then been really solid at RB. Same goes for Julio Jones... if you feel he is the man in ATL, then grabbing him with your second pick would have upgraded your WR corp significantly. Although there's a slight chance he would have fallen to you in the 3rd round. If not White, Andre Johnson would've been a good choice before Stafford. What I'm getting at is, I don't think you need Stafford and Eli. You have two top 10 QBs, yet I don't feel like any of your RB/WR are top 10 guys.
