QB: Garrard, Hasselbeck RB: Peterson, Slaton, K. Smith, C. Benson, C. Taylor, F. Taylor WR: Housh, B. Edwards, Chambers, J. Walker TE: Gonzalez, Heap K: Lindell, Vinatieri D: Pittsburgh, Arizona
12 team HTH league with standard scoring. TEs get a PPR.
We can start either 3 RBs or 3 WRs. I would have had a slightly better group of QBs but some guys were taking backup QBs before filling out needs at other positions. Hopefully my 3 horses at RB will carry me all season.
What does everyone think?
One more draft on Sunday.

Thanks. I hoped Hasselbeck would be available since I picked Housh earlier.. Torry Holt in Jax should improve Garrard as well.

Hasselback and Garrard are 2 of the QBs on my radar for the upcoming season because I dont like to draft QBs early (Garrard was a top 10 QB last year and has an upgrade at WR this year in my opinion).
The only concern I would have with the team would be at WR. I like Housh but you are banking big on Braylan having a big turn around season (I am a fan of his and last year he was just terrible). Although he could easily turn it around this year, you still need some depth at the position. I would suggest that if Benson gets off to a good start sell high on him and try to get a legitmitate #2/3 WR or if you trust Benson then sell high on Smith and get a #1/2 WR.
I do like the team though and GL on the upcoming season.

One more thing: drop one of your kickers right now and go pickup the best available WR off waivers. There is NO need to hold two kickers on your team especially when you are lacking depth at another position

League rules require 2 Ks, 2 TEs and 2 Ds on the roster at all times.
I'll be looking around the waiver wire soon, but I'm currently last due to having the 1st pick. My goals are to get 70 points from my QB and RBs each week, 10+ points from my TE since they get a PPR, 15+ points per week from Pittsburgh's D/ST and 15 points combined from my WRs. Those are average numbers and will easily be #1 in my league.
I'll look to shop around Benson early in the season to boost my WR position.

how in the world in a 12 team league did slaton drop all the way to you on the way back?
No clue. I was late for the draft and I called in the first pick from the road (no brainer), and when I got there, it was my pick.
Slaton was the 12th overall rated in my spreadsheets. I think some drafted a QB (after Brees and Brady were gone) and a run started which helped him slide to me.
6 QBs and 3 WRs were drafted in the 1st two rounds. I usually don't take a QB in the first 4-5 rounds unless my draft spot in the first round sucks (10, 11 or 12) and I'll get someone like Brees and a very good running back.
