This is my biggest money league I am in. Currently 5-2 Start - 1 QB, 1RB, 1WR, 2 Flex (WR/RB), 1 TE, 1K, 1D PPR League
My teams is stacked as I just went with what the draft gave me.
Starting Lineup is: Matt Ryan Adrian Peterson Jamaal Charles LeSean McCoy Percy Harvin Vernon Davis Greg Zuerlein NE D - pts only scored on sacks, fumbles, int, td's.
Bench: Green-Ellis Mendenhall Colston S. Johnson Amendola Rudolph
Trade question: Trying to get Gronk or Graham to upgrade my TE as in my opinion, my team is pretty loaded and if I can get consistency, I'm hard to beat.
Dude offered me: ridley & graham for rudolph & mccoy - would you do it? I declined but he said it's still open if I want it. My concern is McCoy has been underachieving and I don't see this lasting. In his worst game he put up 10pts which I can live with.
I want to upgrade my TE as both Davis & Rudolph put up 0's last week. I also worry that I'm too heavily dependent on Viking players (Peterson, Harvin & Rudolph).
What are your thoughts on trading McCoy, would are some of the other offers or TE's I should go after?
Let me know your thoughts...was also thinking to not tinker b/c I love the depth of my team. Also, Amendola practiced yesterday (can't believe someone cut him), so when he returns my team is that more stacked.
Help....

I dont think I would do it if I were you. I like Ridley but who the hell knows what they are going to do with bolden coming back and vereen looking pretty solid. As an eagles fan I am really hoping they will start giving Mccoy the rock more. We'll see. Plus you are 5-2....why mess with anything?

I would stick with what you have. Vernon Davis will get it together, he has to if the 49ers are going to contend down the stretch, otherwise I believe that division gets pulled out from under them, they need to get back to those shutouts/blowouts.
Also, if I was in your league, no way I would trade you Graham and make your team almost impossible to beat. I know that's 'unethical' but I don't care...
Good luck.

I'd try and do the same since Vernon does fall off from time to time and that's not what you want.
But I would not do that trade,
id try and offer up any kind of combo involving mendy, law firm, Vernon, Stevie even Colston if need be, Vernon + a combo of one or two of these may get ya what ya want & keeping the strong core of rbs.

Hell you gotta do that last one. You are not even starting Colston and you now add the best TE in the league. PLus Amendola will be back in couple weeks. Thats a no brainer.
BAsically your upgrading TE without losing a starter

Colston = Avg 15.08 pts a game / 5.8 catches a game / and 10 targets a game / also has 5 TDs
Harvin = Avg 14.5 pts a game / 7.5 catches a game / and 9.8 targets a game / also has 3 TDs
We do a PPR but only 0.25 pts / reception (either way even with full point we are talking about less than 2 points a game on avg).
Either way give me Colston everytime IMO. By these numbers they are fairly even (although they favor Colston) but the big game potential is significantly in Colston's favor just simply due to the offense that he is on and the high scoring games that he is involved in vs the offense that Harvin is on.

I was assuming full ppr not mention in my league when Harvin returns a kick for td its an extra 6. Also with Colston he has not played many games with both Moore and Graham healthy. I think we are splitting hairs here but in a full point ppr I will take Harvin. Also you say he Colston can have a big game and your right but he can also have a dud.

There are a few factors (already mentioned) as to why I would part with Colston. I am not a fan of depending on the same WR/TE on a team. Also with Graham in the lineup, Colston was barely being utilized. \
I think the biggest factors is that I'm not looking for a guy to have a big game, rather consistent. With a talented team like I luckily have, I just need consistency & Harvin is consistent. Colston has been a monster, but there are sooo many weapons on NO (Moore, Graham, Sproles) while Minny has Peterson.
So back to the trade...do I roll with it?
Yes - No - Wait?

thanks for the feedback guys. Keep'em coming.

Graham & Boldin for Davis & Colston. I know I'm giving up more talent, but the consistency of Graham is too much to not accept.
Now going to watch how he does at tomorrow's practice and if he doesn't participate in a full practice I may cut BJGE and pick up Dressen or Tamme for the SNF game.
Thanks for the input guys!

Whats up bro- first of all...how the fuck did you get charles, AP, and Mccoy. Thats awesome. I think in your situation mccoy is expendable and you should do the trade to upgrade for Gronk. Ridley isn't even that bad either. Look at your lineup post trade i don't see how you lose:
ryan
AP
Harvin
J Charles
Colston/Green-ellis/ ridley/ player with best matchup in flex
Gronk
pretty solid if you ask me, but you will be pretty dependent on minnesota's offense. if you can try to hold mccoy and swing charles i think mccoy may have better value, hes on a better team, will be in closer games down the stretch, and should pile on the receptions. GL

sorry i missed the part about graham, but i would keep vernon and your team in tact - hold off on graham his injury bothers me and it would not be worth breaking up your 3-headed monster back field for an iffy tight end who may not even be that much better than vernon.
Gronk -do the trade
Graham- hold off

sorry for missing your input Michfan, needed to pull the trade 48hrs prior to Sunday 1pm kickoffs. Deal is accepted, but your comments make me think.
Was pretty shocked how I got those top 3, nobody trusted AP and Charles injury, so I gambled, got lucky.
Noworries - interesting thoughts on trading AP+ for Mega, will think about it. Unsure about Welker esp after his shaky start when Hern was in the lineup. May try to shore up my QB with a solid back up as next week is the last week of trading.
Thanks again guys.

Welker is a beast. especially in a PPR. My opinion (for what it is worth) is that in the start of the season the Pats were trying to deemphasize Welker but then Brady eventually realized that Welker is his man and security blanket and has since been using him in healthy amounts.

mattbrot - possibly right, but it did also come at exactly the same time Hern got hurt. There is no question NE wants to move to a two star TE system with a deep threat, Lloyd and rotating backs. I think Welker is a star and unappreciated by NE and I do hope I am wrong.
