These All-Stars like Messi and Ronaldo play phenomenal at the club stage, but fumble at the country level.. particularly Messi.  My gosh..

The EURO 2016 going to Portugal was such an uneventful outcome.  They are such not a team w/ Ronaldo dominant player, and a decent cast of players behind 

Going forward , for value, I would prefer a team of more equal caliber players that a France or Italy could offer...   Italy more often seems to offer value in its club play that prepares it for the grand stage..................

Not sure I could take a So American team either.  If Belgium would play better defense they would have a chance.

France seems like the strongest team to me and I think they take ht trophy.

Its a shame Brazil won't be on the qualifiers! It will be the first time ever... I still hope Brazil wins, its been a while now!

Germany's good 2, but i believe in brazil 2. The last defeat at the World cup must make 'em more stronger.

Hosts Russia will kick off the 2018 World Cup finals in 100 days against Saudi Arabia in Moscow, while defending champions Germany will start against Mexico. Five-time winners Brazil will face Switzerland in their first Group E match with Costa Rica and Serbia making up one of the harder groups.

I don;t agree you on this because i don't think south american teams don't have emerging players... THey have some players but they are not being given chances or enough resources to that effects their performances negatively..

Well being said that it is true Russia is not a safe place according to news reports from quite a few months about hacking and scams, so it will be safe to watch it online from home rather than taking risk to go there.
