I've never bet on a soccer game that has extra time. Can someone please share how betting a draw would work since there will always be a winner? I suspect you're betting for it to be tied after 90 minutes + injury time. My question is so what happens to whoever wins the patch in ET or PK's? Would you also win the bet I'd say Germany wins on PK's. My best guess is for the ML you're betting the result after 90 minutes and injury time. With goal line you're betting the entire game, extra time and PK's included? I'd appreciate if someone shared. The first two group games went great. Got smoked the third group betting teams that had been eliminated already. Hoping for more consistent play in the knockout stages given its win or go home. Thanks in advance.

If it goes to PKs it is graded by the books as a draw so you lose the bet. I learned this the hard way when I bet on the 2006 WC final.

Ok. So if betting for win, must be a winner in 90 minutes + injury time. Any game that goes to extra time/PK's the winning wager is a draw. So strange that you don't win if you bet Brazil and they win in ET or PK's.

North American recreational bettors should stick to ML plays, unless they really know what they are doing....nothing worse that thinking youve won a wager only to find out the actual rules afterwards....kick in the nutz

When you place a bet on a soccer match win, lose, draw or even a total it is always determined after 90 mins, unless it is stated otherwise (i.e to qualify - basically means which team advances, the result after 90 mins + extra time + penalties). For example if a game ends 1-1 after 90 mins and goes to extra time - the under 2.5 has won and so has the draw no matter the result after extra time.

Make sure you check with your book before you bet though because there always could be terms and conditions that are in the fine print. 

PS: 90mins includes injury time
