I pushed it a couple months ago (bowling, basketball, throwing football, tennis) and aggravated it and now it just won't go away. Just tight as hell, hurts when I extend my arm. Not terrible pain, but achy and I can't do anything. It's been 2 freaking months now. I want to golf! I want to shoot hoops!
I've taken alleve, I've rested it, done some recommended exercises. Just doesn't seem to be helping.
Any tips? How much longer for this shit. I'm 34 and never had this problem before.

Anyone ever have this and can't get rid of it?

If you are bowling, you are doing the exact thing I'm doing on a tennis serve.... swinging that arm out and hyperextending the muscles/tendons.
Hard not to when need to "release" it for power.
I have day dreams of controlling an "American Twist" serve which is basically spinning the opposite direction in the Ad court. Runs away from the backhand even further instead of drawing back. Pretty much puts them on their knees if they can even get within 4 feet of it.
It never works but I still try anyway

I used to have a tendenidous on my Right Wrist.... The Doctor gave me some medicine to rub on my wrist and some Ibuprofin... they also told me to always stretch my hands 15 mins. a day so that I won't puledl the muscle again ... The medication didn't help that much but the stretching helps alot...

This sounds crazy, but totally works...I swear....Spray your elboy with WD40 and wrap it really good with saran wrap.....It sounds crazy, but my boss recommended it to me 3 months ago and it worked in one night! Leave it wrapped as long as you can, at least 3-4 hours.....

Try some Arnica Montana. When I had tendonitis my doctor prescribed pain pills, anti-inflammatories, and then told me if I wanted to cure it, go to the homeopathic store and get Arnica Montana. I have only taken the pill form, I haven't tried the topical.

I've had it in my right elbow (I'm a righty) for about 8-10 months now...........it's buggin the shit outta me. To make matters worse, I'm getting it in my left elbow now............Tennis elbow..........on the outside on the forearm side. I've just lived with it but it's getting old. Doesn't really hurt to play golf but the next day is painful.
Ice helps.........not as sore the next day. I took about a month off of activities but that didn't cure it. Doc says the only surefire way is to sling your arm for about a month.................tough to do & I don't really want to think of the atrophy that would occur.
.....................it DOES suck to get old.
