That's a pretty good gain in 3-4 months. I'm sure you've put on a few fat lbs. with the muscle but you almost have to to produce an anabolic state for growth. Certainly can't argue with your diet. I don't believe I've ever made that big of gains that quick.
Good job
I like hearing stories like this.........gets me fired up to lift harder.

Good stuff whodey
If I where you I would drink even more water and switch the soda to diet green tea. Stating hydrated will help you workout more and help your body get rid of waste.

Seem pretty focused over there ..... 20 pounds of muscle is quite a bit. Cafeful cuz could get stretch marks though.
I like your 20 reps idea. That'll keep things lean. I think most I've ever put on is 10 pounds or so over a few months. Could of been more with some fat loss. Don't know. It's hard to measure.

Lately been mixing high rep with real low reps once a week or so. Low reps being a max of 4-5.
The low reps really build strength a lot faster but went a few months (the winter) with basically nothing but pushups and pullups and didn't lose any strength but added low reps two months ago and there is much more strength now.
Whatever you were lifting before the low rep...... do the low rep and go back to the previous weight. It's like lifting air.

Speaking of high reps........ 20 is high for most weightlifters but some of the trainers now will do it in time increments. A minute or more of rows or something which is around 50 or so.
Lower weight obviously but it will shock your system. One highly respected trainer over here does 100 reps once a week.

Sorry for all the posts......... but I love working out. Going to the gym now
Best exercise I've ever come across is a basic wind sprint. Full speed. Doesn't take many. Maybe one or two at first and you might not be able to walk the next day. Then ramp up to 5-10 of them.
The leg muscles are the largest muscles in the body and burn fat 24/7. There are fat and skinny runners but never seen an ounce of fat on a Sprinter. Most of those guys are jacked.
