the saddest part is there is a lot of America that will believe this as they have little knowledge when it comes to healthy eating and will fall into this dumb slogan

dont get me wrong wendy's tastes real good but this slogan is misleading and they should be told to take it down for that reason. Its a blatant lie

They never say they aren't fast food...what's the problem...they are just saying they are WAY BETTER THAN FAST FOOD, THEY ARE WENDY'S....whats the problem?
 
It's like me starting a pizzeria [BIG SAMMIES], with free delivery service AND then I make the following slogan
 
"it's wayyyyy better than DELIVERY PIZZA, its BIG SAM'S!!"...why would that be a problem? why would we be told to take it down? where's the lie? Opinions can't be lies silly

Of course it is a lie/misleading. How can you say you are better than something that you actually are apart  of group wise.

If they said...its way better than ANY OTHER fast food..id have no problem, but this implies they are not fast food. Not sure how you dont see that.

It's an opinion. It doesn't matter. I'm on my SONY laptop right now...if they marketed  it saying WAY BETTER THAN LAPTOPS, ITS A SONY VAIO....where's the problem?  I know it's a laptop, I also understand they are saying they are better than ALL OTHER LAPTOPS...which is an opinion, and which is perfectly fine to say.
 
WAY BETTER THAN BASKETBALL, IT'S THE NBA...you honestly think there is something wrong with that? It's BETTER than the rest...that's all they are saying. BTW if you don't know that WENDY'S is fast food, and you think you are getting something other than fast food when you purchase A CHEESBURGER WITH BACON FOR 99CENTS, then you have alot bigger problems than classifying wendy's under food, or fast food.

Im well educated. I understand its fast food, but being a physical education graduate and a soon to be grad school health ed graduate I can tell you first hand that MANY uneducated people will find this misleading, VERY MISLEADING

I say it is a lie/misleading because a majority of the people in this country will be fooled by this. Sad to say but true. Fast food caters big time to the low income low educated population...now this...this is my point.

Also, its obvious to ANYONE that sony is a laptop and laptops arent hazardous to your health (sans this whole heat shit on your piece ).
 
So its clear there...this becomes misleading because fast food is way different than regular food like a sandwich

I'd like to meet 1 person that thinks WENDY'S [even with this slogan], MCDONALDS, KFC, TACO BELL.....dont fall under the same umbrella.
 
AND THEY NEVER ONCE MENTIONED HEALTH...they arent talking health. THEY ARE TALKING TASTE...and its way better than FAST FOOD....[the taste]

They are a company that wants to sell their food and if that means they are going to say it is better than fast food, then so be it. OPINIONS cannot be argued, it's the company's opinion. If they were doing something wrong, it would of been taken care of, the fact that nothing has happened, means nothing was wrong.

Sam...the slogan says better...which can and IS open to interpretation, and when I read that..I think health. Maybe some dont, and I hope they dont.
 
But people associate fast food with unhealthy and non fast food as healthier, there will be a discrepancy. Despite a lack of education in some people, they will know it is FAST FOOD, but, I do believe some will think it is now healthier
