Have been working out pretty regularly whether it be running or playing tennis/soccer. My problem is that I have been drinking too much. I have taken a break from gambling the last 4 months and ever since have been drinking much more. I drink over 15 beers 3-4 nights a week. Is it possible to slim down while drinking this much?

I just try to avoid giving into the drunk munchies, like pizza, and fries and wings and shit like that. It's helped the beer gut. Difficult to have will power to do so when you're hammered though.

Yes it is possible. In late 2002, early 2003 I lost close to 50lbs ( 238lbs to 195lbs ) in a little over 3 months and in that same time frame I have never drank more beer in my life. I lived above a bar and worked with an Irishman who also lived in the same apartment block. We must have drank 50 to 60 beers a week in that same period as there was not much else to do where we were located.
One of the keys is to NOT eat after you have been drinking as the alcohol slows down your metabolism. Work out regularly ( I was running 5 miles on a treadmill 4 to 5 times a week ) and eat healthily during the day ( I was eating fruit every 2 hours between Noon and 6pm and then a relatively healthy meal for dinner ).
You can easily drop 10lbs while drinking plenty.
P.S I now weigh 185lbs and still love a beer or 30.

You may have to give light beer a shot. Despite running every day, it wasn't until I switched from regular Coke to Diet Coke that I started doing some major damage.

yeah if the beers were the only things you were digesting. wouldnt advise it though because beer hold nutrients from the body and there is no added nutritional value in beer
