Finally the 2011 F1 season gets underway. Like always the season starts with numerous changes that will effect the way races are ran and capped. One thing however that seems to have stayed the same is Red Bulls dominance in pace. The biggest change is in the tires as F1 switches from Bridgestone to Pirelli. The new Pirelli tires are designed for quick wear which will add numerous pit stops to each Grand Prix and thus increase excitement. Should be very interesting to see how things play out early while learning what to expect throughout the season. Made my plays earlier in the day and some of the lines have changed slightly in my favor since
To Win:
Sebastian Vettel -115 to win $200. The defending series champion is fast yet again and looking to makeup for last seasons car problems which cost him this Grand Prix.
Top 3:
Lewis Hamilton -165 to win $200. Everyone was expecting Red Bull to qualify 1-2 but Hamilton showed Mclaren is in the mix and he should be able to bring it home on the podium.
Fastest Lap:
Sebastian Vettel +150 risk $100. A fairly generous price considering he crushed the field buy 8 tenths of a second in Q3.
Race Match:
Lewis Hamilton -130 v Mark Webber to win $100. As long as Lewis can hold Webber off at the start with Red Bulls race start KERS system, he should stay ahead of him all race.
