Anyone Sports Bet in Windsor,Ontario at Cesars?

I was wondering if anyone has bet at cesars i see that u have to make to bets on the same game i was wondering if u have to win both those bets or i is that just to comply with the law.

How to Bet
You must bet on a minimum of two games, with a minimum $2 (CAD) and maximum $1,000 (CAD) bet per product. Maximum bet per ticket is $200 (CAD).

Yes, it's a parlay you must win both wagers. A local politician just introduced a bill to get single game wagering though.

Thats messed up.  Dont understand why they would not allow you to bet a single game.

It's in the criminal code that you cannot wager on single games

In BC we got sportsaction,same shit,shit odds,major cash cow for the province.

Any word on when that bill may go through. Keep us updated.

Theres quite a few of us that play poker at greektown that'd transfer over to ceasars to play poker if it meant the ability to wager on single games as well.

Single game betting is inevitable with so much money going offshore, but the devil is always in the details recognizing it will take time to wind its way through the political process.

Currently, the parlay odds suck even on 2 gamers, so they may introduce it but with garbage lines to ensure the government gets a higher hold, which will mean we'll have to be selective on plays. If NJ goes first, that may help. As for BC, I heard they were going to be introducing single game betting. What happened?

If you compare BC odds to Proline ONT OLG, BC odds are still way better. The funniest part is Proline requires 3 when BC is only 2.

canada is ass backwards for 1st world country, even jersey will get sports betting legal for single games before ontario does, just dont spend your extra play cash in canada, spend it in usa or costa rica

The bill to remove the Canadian federal law against single-game betting has passed Parliament and now must get thru the Senate. I haven't heard any time frames but some people were hopeful for this year's Superbowl or March Madness. That seems unlikely as a passage by the Senate merely throws the responsibility onto the individual provinces. And there is some lobbying going on against the passage. Rumor has it if Ontario adopted single-game betting it would be -120.

I. Nelson Rose, the preeminent legal mind on matters sports-betting, thinks N.J. will also take a while to bring in single-game betting. The Garden State is actually further behind than Ontario. The federal legislation in the U.S.A. is still in place (the PASPA act). Someone (probably the NJ governor) will have to start a process to get that repealed.

i have to admit wagering in canada just sucks big time, such shitty odds, pro line in ontario is just a big scam, bad odds and have to parlay 3 games, wtf.

Heard at Caesars Windsor last nite that the Comartin bill will come up in the Senate February 18. It would be tough to get single-game betting for March Madness but let's cross our collective fingers.

Heard last week that that the Senate won't consider the Comartin bill again until March. Looks like no March Madness as far as single-game wagering.

While anything is positive with respect to removing the mandatory parlays, don't be surprised if they offer 20 cent lines.  That's a steal compared to the 30 cent lines the province offers through the lottery program.

Even if they do offer single game wagering they will cap the limit to 100per game and with all the security at the casino good luck trying to go back up and bet the same game again for another 100

Limit for parlays is nominally $1000. But you can ask the supervisors to phone for the OK for more. I think they would keep the same limit for single-game. No multiplier so they might even raise it to $2000.

Latest word at Caesars Windsor Casino is that it looks good for single-game betting and a new sportsbook to accommodate it by this summer (in time for football season).
