IMHO Pinnacle is misleading everyone when they say they are winners friendly, arbitrage friendly etc, etc. This is just marketing. Maybe Pinnacle was welcoming winners some years ago, but not any more. I can’t find the exact date, but in my opinion, Pinnacle’s style of operating changed drastically when they pulled out of the US some years ago. I will explain why Pinnacle is not welcoming winners any more. Indeed they are not closing winning accounts, and they are not limiting players like European bookmakers (Bet365, WilliamHill etc) but what they do instead is limiting complete markets. For example, if you take a look at lower leagues markets you will immediately find out their limits being mush smaller than Bet365’s. So, in reality they didn’t limit any individual player, but they did limit all players in a market where these players would beat Pinnacle. During these last years, they withdrew from markets with low liquidity and they added juice in many other markets. This is in a period where sharp players are looking for solutions that they can’t find in Betfair and Matchbook. You can read some more about this here: https://arbusers.com/portal/last-man-standing-pinnacle/ this is a forum of smart bettors, most of the guys are professional gamblers. The forum claims that they brought this article to the attention of Pinnacle, but Pinnacle didn’t comment at all, and that makes me believe the article is accurate and the opinion is backed by solid analysis. Of course, I am not saying that Pinnacle is not a solution, quite the contrary, Pinnacle is the best solution, but all i am saying is that Pinnacle is not what it used to be.
