has anyone tried depositing with money orders from the post office? per 5dimes, they only accept post office or walmart money orders. no cashier's or bank checks. you also have to include the attached stubs of the money orders and your purchase receipt in the envelope.
if you've used this method:
- what's the max you've sent in money orders?
- how long has it taken for your money orders to arrive?
- why did you choose this method over WU/MG?
- have you ever had any problems using this method? if so, what was the resolution?
appreciate any feedback, thanks.

I don't play at 5dimes any longer because it's a crap book with horrific customer service and issues with their software but when I did, the postal money orders were a very good deposit method. Seeing as 5dimes changes their policies every five minutes, I don't know if they still take them or not. You used to have to send them Fedex and if you sent at least a $1,000, they would pay the Fedex fee. The money was put in my account as soon as they got the money orders.

thanks for the reply. they're still accepting them as of now and state that they're really the safest, most 'sure thing' method available right now. the only thing that worries me a bit is that you have to include both proofs of purchase (money order stubs + receipt) within the FedEx envelope. i shudder to think what happens if the package gets lost?
as far as their poor customer service, i've had good and bad experiences. the most troubling thing for me has been when i've asked the same question to different reps, but received different answers.
software issues - not sure if you mean their actual software/user interface or their servers? their servers almost always get overloaded near kick-off and at halftimes, making it very difficult to place last minute wagers. this is definitely a problem and huge annoyance.
they're one of my favorite outs for college football though because they offer the most wagering options in FBS and FCS games, so i deal with these other issues. have never had a payout issue most importantly.
who do you play with now?

Why do they need the M.O. stubs? If the envelope does get lost in the shuffle what recourse do you have with no proof of purchase? Never heard of such a requirement before. Virtually the same as sending cash and cross your fingers.
