You need to man up, I don't believe the no one will buy my cards or tv's or lease my car, you're just asking too much for it.

You just caused a major headache for your friend, so clean this up. Sell something major for a discount and let your friend and the bookie know so they see you're trying, then get on a plan.

Losing 7k in one week and you don't have the money is devastating for your future. Be fortunate. Take this as a lesson, pay it off and don't gamble ever again or next time it'll be 16k.

You will not stick to a payment plan, do not kid yourself. You have proven to be reckless with your lot in life, pre bookie. It is the American way to run from your debt, no one is accountable anymore and because hey it is only credit and it can't be my fault for poor decisions. Talk to a parent if you have the balls and are serious, but it sounds as though you have talked yourself into bailing on a friend and a debt. Funny thing you would be the same guy on here with two pages of comments if you did not get paid 7K?

I have the opposite problem... my book cut my line twice in last 5 months do to a crazy hot streak... sell 1000 worth of shit and follow my picks homey.. I will take you to promised land just look at my documented last 3 days of betting

Can't help but write...I used to be a Brooklyn BM. First of all, face this guy head on. Apologize profusely and offer what you can pay and KEEP TO. Do not offer or agree to something you cannot keep your word to, as it is insulting and dishonest. It will piss the guy off...One other note--I'm hoping this is an "established" guy and not some (old school term) renegade. If it is, meaning some outfit with no connections, you might have a more difficult time working out a deal...
