Mirage...hands down. They are the only place around that still comps booze while you're sitting at the sportsbook. Most everyone else requires several hundred dollars worth of bets for a single drink ticket. Plus it's a nice setup. You typically don't have to wait for scrolling odds, the boards are big enough that everything is displayed at all times for that day's action.

Do you guys know that Luxor remodeled their sports book? It's actually pretty nice now. They got a couple huge flat screens now. I don't see anything wrong with watching the game there. Luxor doesn't give out drink tickets though.
Mirage doesn't give out free beers anymore. You need drink tickets there now. Not sure if Mandalay or Caesars gives drink tickets. The Hilton is too crowded. I was there Saturday and there was no where to sit.

I've been to Vegas over 40 times, heres how it goes.......The Hilton is hands down the best sports book overall. The Wynn has the nicest. I never understood why everyone was so big on Ceaser's sportsbook? It is tucked into the corner with shitty quality TVs (no HD) and shares the bathrooms with PURE. I used to go there to catch DJ AM on Friday nights, along with the hottest women in Vegas. Paris has a decent sportsbook also. The Mirage's is freaking old style too. You guys may laugh at me, but Bally's is one of my favorites becuase it is set up like a sports bar. You are surrounded by beer and food--Nice combo.

I agree with Kong Killer, Bally's is the best for service, you get free food with the bets as well. For local talk, I like the Orleans, have not been this year, but it was 24 hours at one time. MGM may suck, but the ESPN Sports bar is a great place to go for a sunday, as you can watch all the games from your table with those cool tv's at each table. Have fun....

Can anyone confirm or deny this? Not that I don't trust you Cougs, it's just that it's disappointing to know that you can't get a drink in a Vegas sportsbook anymore without paying for it. The Mirage was the last bastion of openly free booze without the hassle of drink tickets. Nowadays you have to make $300 window visits before you got a free cocktail.
