Have you heard anything about not getting payouts? 

I will agree that there customer service is the worst of any site I have tried.  And there site is not the best set-up either.  But I have done ok playing there games so far.   I like the live BJ and even more...Baccarat.  If those really are live games, then I feel better playing live instead of against a computer.  

They better payout though when I'm ready...

Seriously...as an American gambler and as a coherent, intelligent human being with a brain...Bet Phoenix is the WORST online Book known to the internet gambling world. Why?

I can address all of this no problem.

1. Rude and incompetent customer service.

This statement is based on your 3^rd point, and the CS reps unwillingness to budge on the promo rollover from 10 to 8 times.  This is an unfair assessment at best based on your 3^rd point.  Unfortunately in this case you are insulting our service based on misinformation from your end.

2. Horrible gambling interface. (They had a new one going, but then reverted back to their old, choppy site setup)

The new version is live and can be defaulted on the home page.  In order to provide good service we let the members choose which interface they enjoy more as to not alienate any members preferences.  We did have to take the new version 1.0 down to repair some issues in bet types allowed for free plays as well as some correlations on if bets.  This was done while we had down time due to our ISP closing our Int pipe with a few hours notice.  All has since been restored.

3. The free $50 bet that was given out a few months ago is BULL. My friend signed up for it and the terms PLAINLY stated that there was an 8 times rollover before withdraw. Well, she is 44 bux away and now the "Oh-so-awesome" customer service is telling her the terms are 10 times. Oh, and there's nothing they can do about it so it has to stay at 10 times. So what happens when she reaches 10 times? Will it be 15 times? 20 times?

Before making such claims, it would be better to refer to the posted and documented rules for this promotion both on Covers and on Betphoenix.  I will place them here for clarification.

Just because YOU'RE not making money doesn't mean we can't. Man up and payout. I will NEVER use your book and I suggest none of you guys do either. From what I hear the owner is a liar and a cheat and hires scrubs for customer service. I'd rather put bets in with a bum on the street then with this service.

Any member who has hit the rollover has been paid upon request and that is easily verifiable via players here.  Many of those were same day payments FWIW ( Refer to Ahambone111's post #3 here).  We are doing just fine here, so once you hit your 10x roll per the posted and archived rules, please send me an e-mail (richard@betphoenix.com) asap so I can pay you same day as were the many other covers members.  I understand that you are free to post whatever you want, but this is a tad sensationalistic at best.

I dont have a BP account, dont think I ever will because they just dont fit my profile - and I dont fit theirs....

That being said - if I am being honest - I am actually very impressed that Richard posts here - and not only that he posts - but how he posts.  To my knowledge, he is the only one "on the other side of the table" that is willing to do this - and for that I give major credit to him and BP.

It is also very entertaining and interesting to hear his viewpoint.

I have no comment on BP ability to be a good book, their interface, or their CS - but I will give credit where credit is due - and hope that Richard keeps posting here.

I agree that Richard is a master at manipulation and marketing.  He appears periodically to "explain" why they are having issues with their website and talks his way, very convincingly, out of every single other problem that members bring up.  He then, again very smartly, offers free plays (which really only inexperienced players take), free TV's, etc.  It appears that he is really on the players side and that part is genius too.   The reality of it all is that he is here to take your money and make it as difficult as possible for you to win (i.e., free play rollovers, delays in payout, etc).  If you don't believe that, then you are foolish.

First off - I dont "believe" anything.  I am not a customer at BP.  I said that in my post. 

Secondly - you state he offers free plays, free tvs etc - isnt that what is commonly referred to as marketing?  Isnt every business "out to take your money"?  They want your money, and you want something in return - how is that different than any other business?

I dont think Richard would argue that BP targeted clientel is the recreational gambler - or "square" - someone that likes things like TVs and free plays.  Every book has their niche, and their target market - why should BP be any different?  If you are not a recreational gambler who likes things like bonuses and free plays - pick another book!!  There are tens of them out there begging for your business.

Lastly - your best point is your first point - and the one that you should have the most issue with BP.  Richard explains some of the problems that they have had - but doesnt acknowledge that they should have been prepared better to anticipate some of these problems.  Gonna have a SB in Costa Rica?  You might want to have a satellite or backup to your service provider.  Gonna try new software?  You might want to do more quality testing before its release.

So fine - fault BP for their inexperience and possible lack of judgement - but fromt he outside looking in - I dont think you can fault them for their upfront business practices and willingness to discuss them.  If they were shady, and just planned on running in to the night with your money, Im not sure Richard would be here every day trying to build up goodwill with potential and current clientel.

Time will tell, as it does with all of these books - but as an observer I like the fact that he is here - and find it personally interesting.

I have been playing online for 16+ years and have played at almost every shop out there and can honestly say that BetPhoenix is absolutely the best. Richard and his staff is always there for you no matter what the problem is. I have never seen a book consistently give the bonuses that BP does and thet are happy to do it. The Live Casino is awesome and beats playing against a computer anyday not to mention that the girls are hot for the most part. Richard,Charles,Alex,Phil,Cynthia,Sylvia,and Kathy(hope I didnt forget anybody) have all on at least one occassion but some of them even more,gone way above and beyond to make sure I am playing and having no problems at all. I wont elaborate on all the things they have done for me but I can honestly say that I would never expect it from a book. I will be with this crew until they shut down which will NEVER happen.

Alot of people come on here blowing steam that have no clue and are mad for reasons that have nothing to do with the books in question. If you come here to bitch,you need to provide evidence of the problem and not just expect us all to believe the crap you are spewing because the people who play here everyday know what you are saying cant possible be from the same place we play at. BP keep up the good work and to all the blowhards, give us some proof or go away.
