Yeah ripping off an entity that had nothing to do with the original issue to get yourself back to even is real classy.
But then bragging about it and presenting your title as though there had been a breakthrough for the many users of BE was a scumbag maneuver, plain and simple.

But I don't believe I ripped the banks off. I wasn't the one who deemed it sound to reimburse me, the banks did. Of course I initiated the claim to the banks but that's all I could do.
Like I said before, if anything Citibank should have reviewed this disputed claim more
closely and realized that I was at fault for buying a service that is
off shores and imperfect to begin with especially since I told them I
knowingly purchased this service.
But are you telling me that if they offered to chargeback your deposit you wouldn't accept that man? C'mon esplanade. I think you said before that the money I lost was beer money compared to your losses. I'm not here to brag about my story. But what method did you use to deposit with beted? If you used a debit card why wouldn't you have tried to contact your bank, that's all I'm asking.
I actually thought that this really was a breakthrough update that others would try and take advantage of too if they were in the same position. Who cares if it's not classy at this point. Wouldn't you try and get your money back by any means necessary at this point?

All arguing and name calling aside (and there has been a lot of that), I understand where you're coming from. And yes, I lost many many many times that amount. My deposits were by e-check, but my balance was 10 times or more what I had deposited and those deposits were aged.

I see, it's most likely too late by now to file a claim with your bank about a check that you could have told them was unauthorized. You could still try but they'd probably just tell you it's been past the time period to file a claim for a disputed transaction. I don't know may be worth a shot. It's possible you could explain to them the situation about trying to hear about updates from the merchant and thought there was a chance you'd be getting your money back on your own but didn't and then decided to call your bank at a last resort to see if there's anything they could do. You could file a dispute about the most recent deposit you made claiming that the older ones were valid yet this newest one proved to be illegitimate and didn't receive that service.
