When a book waits until the result is complete you know your dealing with a shady business. Quality books cancel the wager immediately.
Couple years ago I caught Bookmaker throwing lines out after tennis matches had begun. They were 100% trying to get people to bet matches after the fact so they could then decide what to do after the result.
Like many of the other have mentioned... time fo find a new book

Wow sorry for your troubles, but people actually use BoDog still?? Guys the site is a big scam. I was using BoDog for roughly 4 months a few years back betting ONLY dogs. I did this because BoDog has soooo many inflated lines. After a couple of months Bodog basically told me they didnt want my business any more, and they closed my account...There crooks..

Does anyone know where I can get timestamps of the play by play to prove these jerks wrong?
The problem is we have to take bodog's word on time, yet I was staring at the screen and bet in between the Jets TD and their kickoff. What plays did I miss?
Does anyone have the game on DVR? Can you tell me what time it was when the Jets kicked their extra point and when they kick off?

Books allow past posts all of the time... the problem is books don't have defined rules of what is officially past post.... and because no rules exist they are able to bend the term past post in any way thats profitable to them.
I've always thought that if a book leaves a line out they should have to honor it. Its not that difficult to track starting times and such...especially when your talking about multimillion dollar companies.
When you go into the grocery store and a product is mispriced they have to sell that product at the price listed...it should be in the sports booking world too.
I have talked to managers a gazillion times trying to get an official ruling on what is past post.... they never have an answer...or if they do...it changes from one to the other.

I think, generally speaking, action is accepted up until they come out of the commercial break - that's what I've found at 5dimes, at least. Having said that, if play hasn't actually resumed, I don't really see what the big deal is on their part.

i bet bdog in game all the time and was surprised they left jets +11.5 up that whole drive before cotchery scored. usually its just open during breaks. i bet the steelers -11.5 during that last drive cause i thought sanchez was going to blow it like always. but then after they scored i saw the line was still open and i bet the jets trying to take advantage. i lost my steelers -11.5 and got my +11.5 on the jets cancelled too. i knew i was trying to get one over on them so im not complaining. sounds like u tried to take advantage and got shut down...it happens

These situations are awful for players every time they happen but....
IF you are not smart enough to do the simple research of these books and realize books such as BETUS, Bodog, etc are shady you are just asking for trouble like this.

Everyone always says this, but I've always wondered why. BD is one of the worst "profilers" out there.
If you start to win with dogs, they will recognize that and give you lesser lines.
Same with faves or overs - they will make the lines higher and higher b/c of the types of plays you prefer.
Awful awful book - no serious player should be there at all.
