Why dont you guys stop fucking with this piece of shit book and send some actual CASH to a real book like bookmaker, betjam, thegreek, 5dimes, etc..this way you know you will get paid if you win.

They should change the topic of this thread from creditwagering.com to Broke Degenerates.

Anyone from my neighborhood or circle of friends who created a book website and then posted on thousands of forums that he was giving credit accounts would either get his ass kicked for being a dummy or he would be laughed out the neighborhood or circle.

Nice business plan Michael.  They must have dog shit in the water of Maine.

I heard that they were getting stiffed too much, hence, the slow pay/no pay to winning customers.

How much do you think they are down? And why don't they just close up shop and cut their losses? Clearly this could never work and even an idiot like Ben/Michael should be able to see that.

I lost it all! They call me every now and then but I've built up a friendship with the guy who calls so we normally just shoot the shit for a few minutes and dump on creditwagering LOL

He also says he receives his paychecks from an American address, more proof that they are based illegally out of the States and not in Costa Rica.

If you lose and they hassle you, ask them for their address in Costa Rica to send them their funds :P Did this 5 minutes ago:

    Carlos says:
Hello Cory. My name is Carlos how can I help you?
    Cory says:
Hey, I just need an address to send you guys the money I owe.
    Carlos says:
I can give you either Moneygram or Western Union instructions, which would you prefer?
    Cory says:
I don't have a bank account or access to Western Union... I'd really just like an address where I can send the funds.
    Carlos says:
we only accept WU, MG or Amex as payment
    Cory says:
MG is like a money order right?
    Cory says:
I can get a money order and send it to you, I just need the address.
    Carlos says:
      Mg is like WU
    Cory says:
Well you tell Ben or Michael that I'll gladly send them the money when they give me a physical address on where to send it.
    Carlos says:
      Not an option
    Cory says:
Ok, well can you give me the address anyways? I'd really like to come visit the head offices... or at least send a letter to Ben/Michael.
    Carlos says:
No, you can send an email
    Cory says:
I'm not much for computer technology... I'd much rather come see them... or use real mail. You don't know who you can trust out there.
    Cory says:
Why is it so hard for a legitimate company to give me the address of their head office?
    Carlos says:
      lol
    Cory says:
Maybe it's because the company pretends to be based out of Costa Rica when it is clear the operation is run in the United States.
    Cory says:
But I know creditwagering is better than that... with their payouts always being on time and their awesome rankings amongst other books.

    He then closes the chat.

You're smart sf so don't be naive. The business model is clearly working because they've been open for many years now and still take on new clients...

If you think about it: maybe like 10% of people win; probably about 50% never pay; the remaining 40% pays off the 10% who win plus the people working.

They still have enough money to employ all their chat help people and their collection agencies and computer guys and whoever else... I'm pretty sure they're turning a profit.

    @XhuegoX

You know what's worst than gamblers not paying their debts? BOOKIES NOT PAYING THEIRS!

You know whats more scummy than stiffs? BOOKIES THAT RUN AN ILLEGAL OPERATION OUT OF THE UNITED STATES BY PRETENDING THEY'RE IN COSTA RICA.

You know who's worse than dirt? BOOKIES WHO GIVE LINES OF CREDIT ILLEGALLY.

You know who should man up? BOOKIES WHO HIDE BEHIND A COMPUTER SCREEN BY OFFERING SHITTY CUSTOMER SUPPORT, GIVING TERRIBLE LINES/ODDS, MISSING PAYOUTS, HAVING NO PHYSICAL ADDRESS, ETC.

You know who's a bitch? YOU.

Hey, let's create an online book and give free credit to gamblers.

Sounds like a winning business plan!

    hey retire early,

The sportsbook review SBR has an interesting thread talking about CW going down for violation of patriot act with posting of ID's and there has been arrests associated with them. Have you heard anything? I assume they will never payout everyone.  The article states that the reason they cant pay is that they have had all their accounts frozen, 3 in the US and 2 offshore???
