Right now now you can. Just a regular ol' Visa. I know of at least 7 or 8 people that have done this. And just to test, I did it with one of my cards I just picked out of the wallet blind. It worked and the next day I tried another one and it also worked.

I just used a regular visa debit card on 5dimes and it worked after i racked my brain for my secured by visa password

Nope, no problems at all. When you deposit at 5Dimes, their processor is made so that no one will no it was for gambling. They just ippay or something like that so whoever will think it's for just everyday online purchases. You will have no problem withdrawing at 5Dimes. All you need to do is fill out the authorization form and scan your ID and Visa Card to them and your good to go

scanning my visa and license seems like it would be an excellent way to have my bank account ripped off, no? I didn't put much money in my account, i'm considering this just a trial period b/c i've read good and bad things about 5d.

The only bad thing about 5Dimes is sometimes the customer service isn't exactly service. But I have been using since they started and never had a problem getting paid. And personally I haven't had any problems with CS, but usually I get in touch with them on live chat.

if u don't like giving that info u can just go down to a western union and do your deposits that way

A few follow up questions...
If you use a WU visa, do you still have to send in a copy of your ID and WU visa to make a withdrawl?
If you use a bank visa or WU visa to deposit, can you avoid the ID/visa copy issue if you choose to withdraw using a different method, i.e. have them mail you a check?
If you use WU locally to wire money to 5dimes, when you go to deposit/withdraw, do you still have scan them some sort of ID? Is there a way to have them wire money back to WU when you are ready to withdraw or is it best to get it via check?
I agree with the other poster I am nervous to give my ID and visa card to someone in another country, just seems ripe for ID theft!

i only used WU at the store down from my house to make deposits, i didn't have to show id,just filled out the form thats it, then when i got home i called 5dimes and gave them the transaction # and the money was posted within 15 min, i haven't withdrew any money but i would think u would only have to show id at WU to pick up money sent to u thats it,

Just wanted to put out little pub. serv. announcement re: the hacks @ 5 dimes. Keep in mind these folks will take virtually any Deposit (amount, frequency, etc.) and it's Instant.
Wdrawl - very different
Lotta BS YDay - eventually went past 1PM EST (their cut-off time for WU) - so they used that excuse. Spent a good deal of time Yday doing all I cud to get my account as ready (tagged, etc) for a W'drawl tday. Started bright and early @ 9am EST - was told: "All set - got all the info we need - we're 'running' @ about 45mins - so you should be able to call for a # in a while".
Waited 2 hours - called back - guy (stupid #3) said " I'm sorry the last guy u talked to gave u that info - it cud take up to 24 hours".
Wanted to reach through the receiver and rip....... Well, ya know. But if you put up too much off a stink they'll just freeze your account - something betjam does whenever I've tried to hold them responsible for their own 'guidelines.
FWIW I have had positive w'drawl experiences in the past - but it seems these folks are hit/miss deals at best.
To paraphrase Forrest Gump:
Getting a w'drawl from most (multi-billion $$$) Sports Books is like a "box of chocolates".
