Heritage charged me $55 to withdraw via check

Question

I just made a withdrawal via check at Heritage and was told there was a $55 fee. Max withdrawal is only $3000 via check. I was told first check was free but they told me that's only after 15 days??? Did anyone else get charged a fee for the first check withdrawal?

Update... Just contacted them again to complain about their ridiculous fee and the agent was able to reverse my fee as a "one time exception" because I'm a new customer. NOT IMPRESSED WITH HERITAGE SO FAR

What&#x27;s the 15 day thing.  Has it only been 15 days since you opened your account ?  What exactly is thier check rules now ?  Do you get 1 free a month ?

Agent told me the free check starts 15 days after your account opens.  Then you get one free check per 30 rolling days.

&#xD;&#xA;You wouldn&#x27;t just because you had to be a member for 15 days before you got a check.  And they give you a free one every month. Add to that they waived the rule for you.  &#xD;&#xA;I agree with Gardfather, what else do you want.  They had the rule, bent it for you.  Above and beyond customer service. See how many free checks the other books give you

I have been using Heritage for a while, after I had problems with another book I deposited my funds with them. I ended up withdrawing a large amount of money back in April. Had no problem at all, they are by far the best book I have ever used. They are a great book if you want to wager on games and be paid.

Let me get this straight eraserize,  you are bitching about Heritage, whom picked up your balance and gaining nothing by it, after your so called great books bailed on you, and you are bitching about them!  They didn&#x27;t have to do anything and on top of that, reversed the fee.  Oh i get it,  they should have paid you to withdraw money that was in your other account that they transferred freely and gave you a place to wager!  You are ridiculous.  Heritage is by far, the best book out here!  I have been with them for a long time and they have never steered me wrong!  Yeah, they don&#x27;t have all the options you are use to, but compared to no action and losing your money,  i don&#x27;t think you came out that badly!  Stop bitching and give them an honest chance!

I&#x27;m simply here to inform others that might think of withdrawing their funds about the policy that they DO NOT disclose to you when asking for withdraw options.  I&#x27;m also here because no one else mentioned that they ran across this fee when they withdrew.  So I&#x27;m here to see if they are consistent in their policies.  When I asked a few days ago, all the agent told me was that the first check was free.  They did not mention the 15 day rule.  All the posts I&#x27;ve read on here say nothing of the 15 day rule either.  So I&#x27;m just here to set the record straight about their hidden policy which they don&#x27;t tell you if you simply ask for the withdrawal option.  Make sense people?

So all of you guys are ok with a book charging you a fee that was not disclosed to you when you asked them specifically about any fees that go along with what you wanted to do? If so, then I'd rather be an idiot with $55 more dollars in his pocket.

I&#x27;m not bitching, I&#x27;m letting everyone know.  What&#x27;s your problem with me giving people solid information?  I&#x27;m not making up this fee, it&#x27;s their fee!  I&#x27;m posting because they never mention it and it will help people know that it exists.  Sure they made things right by taking the fee back.  That&#x27;s great but I still don&#x27;t like any book that will hide fees period.  That&#x27;s my opinion so if you don&#x27;t like it you can make your own thread about how great the book is if you want.  I won&#x27;t go in there and harass you with stupid comments that don&#x27;t add to the discussion.And Mac seriously?  If I didn&#x27;t deposit anything how would I even have an account?  That makes no sense.  They have MY MONEY in their account, so yes I deposited my entire betj account to them.  Doesn&#x27;t matter if it was transferred to them from another book or I gave them cash, I have money deposited to this book.

They gained nothing by taking over your account when betjam packed up and ran.  Heritage is the only reason you even still have an account! Are the fees not posted anywhere?  I notice they aren&#x27;t on the rules page regarding banking.... Do they post about the fee anywhere when you login to the cashier?I have an account but I have not made the choice to submit my customer registration, so I don&#x27;t know if they post about the fees when you get into the cashier.Thank you for posting.  I was just simply commenting that they did seem to take care of you---they gave you the payout for free and informed you of their policies going forward.  They also continue to offer a free payout which is great.GL going forward

I also think you should keep your options open, so don't burn any bridges with them. I held TheGreek in high regard and I read the letter posted by TheGreek about Heritage and they vouched for the security of their past players funds. They might turn out to be a great alternative for you. I agree 100% $55 is way too much for a check, but if they offer a free payout once per month---it is more than acceptable. There really is no need to cashout more than once a month using a check in my opinion. Checks are huge paper trails.

Try live chat next time before doing anything. When i did they told me everything i wanted to know. Limits how much they cost how long before you could get a free check and the rules associated with it. Account has to be active there for 15 days and there has to be wagering activity during a few of those 15 days and you get a free payout. Also 55 for a courier cashiers check is not bad most are 10 or 20 less, but when there bank wire is 120 the check is solid. WU/MG are not that great as the limit is not high at all.

@eliminator85 - Yes I did live chat with them and they did not mention anything about the 15 days when I asked. They also knew i was a new account and that I was planning to withdraw. It was not disclosed to me until I was actually withdrawing. But now I understand their policy. Just making people aware of it if people are in the same boat as me thinking of withdrawing and moving money to another book.

@Gardfather - No, there is nothing posted on their site and when i specifically asked of all fees for the withdrawal is not mentioned to me even when they knew I was a new account and wanted to withdraw. Yes, I agree not to burn bridges, I'm not here to do that. I'm just here to spread the word and how disappointed I was when I found out there was a fee to something that was explicitly told to me to be free.

Mac you are an idiot if you think heritage took my account balance without any reimbursement from bet jam. You really think a book would take an account transfer without charging the original book? So you sir are saying stupid stuff. Name one thing that I said was stupid. Everything I said makes complete sense. I'm just spreading information about a books policies. Heritage got paid for taking my account transfer so yes I've indirectly deposited money to them and my goal is to take that money in my pocket without getting screwed by fees that are not disclosed to their clients.

i requested 1400 withdraw monday by check they charged me 0 dollars and i got check today so in my book they are as good as the greek so far
