You really need to learn a count strategy. With the amount of times you go to the casino it will really pay off for you.
I have learned pretty much all of the decent ones. Have pretty much just used the Ken Uston counts for the most part. I actually met Ken a few times. But the odd thing is that it wasn't Blackjack that ever really brought us together to meet.
It was......Pac-Man........ That's where I met him in AC many, many, many years ago.
Here are a couple of level one counting systems that will kick things off for you. After you learn these you may want to go to a level 2 count that will be a bit more powerful. But some people find for the extra amount of time they have to put into a level 2 count, the level 1 works just as well.
It doesn't work as well, but if you make errors on the level 2, you should stay with the level 1.
Here are two great ones to start out with.
Blackbelt in Blackjack. Arnold Snyder has his Red7; count in here. That's the one you will key on. In fact the Hi-Lo is slightly better in one and two deck games, but you won't find these at many casinos.
Knock Out Blackjack. Now this is one I think is very easy for someone that has never used a count before. BTW, Arnold isn't very fond of this system. He claims the authors of KO didn't set up correct test for the system. That's why they claim it beats the Red 7.
If you decide to go with the Red7, it would be a good idea to use the advanced version.
Personally I use the Uston SS count. It is a level 3 unbalanced count. A side note is that Arnold Snyder worked with Ken Uston on this. Although I believe that Snyder was used more as a consultant after Uston devised the count. That was the last count I have used in Casinos. There have been some since, but I still stick with this one.
Man, I wish Ken would of gotten his stuff together personally, so he was still with us today.

WOW, do I have a lot to learn! You know, I never really thought about this. I have a lot of reading to do!
I was going in there, my wife and I would throw a couple hundred down a piece and leave when we doubled up. Playing basic ole' BJ. 60-70% we came home ahead.
THANKS for the info. Lippsman! This will spice it up a little now!!!!

I was playing at sportsbook.com and pretty much lost all my units.. Now the only reason im not going apesh!t is because it was house money. And im a moron for playing it..
I won probably 1 out of 8 hands.. I mean the dealer STAYED ON 20 and 21 regardless if they were showing a face card or 5. Now im a solid blackjack player and when the dealer bust around 3 times and i bust around 12 times i find it odd. Everytime i get 20, i NEVER won once with 20 lol... Anyway is there any confirmation on if these @ssholes rig their bj?
It's as rigged as the sun coming up tomorrow!!

the only one that i would suggest if you are gonna play is Bet365's live blackjack. Its basically a video feed to a live dealer, the only problem is that it takes almost 5 mins per hand for everybody to place their bets because its not just you at the table.
i played a few times and i pretty much broke even after about 10 hands each time so i think its legit.

Let me enlighten all of you on how internet gaming works. The table games on the internet are absolutely rigged! Black Jack is the most commonly rigged program. Although it is rigged differently than most people feel it is. The house typically does not control when exactly a player losses on a particular hand or wager. The softwares are based on a time formulated program. It takes the the average wager of a player and calculates how much a person should lose depending on the length a player plays. It is more complicated than it sounds but in short, the longer someone plays the longer and more someone losses. The best way to win in these games is to play a couple of hands and as soon as your up, u quit! Ahhh! But can you really quit is the question..........
For those that tell you that these games are not rigged, they are most likely sub-agents of these sites and are making commision off your losses!
The Truth!!!!!

I think the one thing people are forgetting to think about is the fact that as soon as you get to a table game (either online or LIVE at a Casino), you are already at a disadvantage.
You are not 50/50 against the dealer and over time you will lose it all. People bitch about how the dealer "sucks out on them". The dealer can only stay on 5 hands. So 2 out of 5 playable hands for the dealer is 20 or 21 giving the impression "they always beat me".
The best way to win is by playing each had accordingly with what cards have already been exposed from the shoe and the probability of taking another card being beneficial to your hand or allow the dealer to take the next card and bust.

that being said, if you chose to play online casinos may i suggest skipping the anxiety and mental distress by simply over-nighting me a check or money order to my p.o. box in the amount you were willing to lose to an online game that is programmed to generate 87% losing results not long after giving the player a taste of victory within the first few hands/spins/rolls of your chosen donation...i promise i will appreciate your money much more than these online thieves and you will successfully avoid elevating your blood pressure and other potentially harmful health risks, in turn, resulting in a win-win situation for the both of us...just simply e-mail me your intended donation amount and i will provide the p.o. box mailing address

Of course it's rigged....If you owned an offshore online casino wouldn't you rig it???
Of course, the way we all know it's rigged is because we've all played them....And if we're all commenting here that it's rigged that means we all have to admit that we're all unbelievable dumbasses because we played them......

It's definately rigged. You only win like 1 out of ever 6 hands literally. At least in my case. When i lose a hand and bet more to try to make it up, i keep losing every hand until i play a small bet then it lets me win. Now isn't that what u call rigged? I've played online blackjack quite a few times, and i finally said, i'll eat the loss. Ever since then, i have never touched online casino. I've lost just under $1200. I'll take that loss since i know a couple folks who have lost WAY MORE than me. But i do admit the one of my buddies have worked a systems and won over $8500 in 3 weeks. Now for some reason it doesn't let him in anymore. He contacted the website and they couldn't tell him anything.
Anyways, if u can, just Stay Away from it. Thats my advice.

Pinnacle is rigged I play baccarat there. But Bet365 is legit, as they are regulated in the United Kingdom, bet365 Group Limited is one of the UK’s leading betting and gaming groups with over 700 employees handling over 500,000 bets each week to customers from over 120 different countries. bet365 offers one-account betting through its website and telebet centre. In addition, the group operates 59 licensed betting offices throughout the UK.
I do very well there, only downfall is they don't offer high money lines. But they do have live betting for almost every game...
agree with all that. Bet365 is a great book for low-medium range bettors ie a buck to a 1000 bucks a play.
Their in play betting is second to none and makes the ht lines offered by us/carribean books look a bit old fashioned but unfortunately US customers are barred cos of the silly US rules - this is a real killer for US punters - no way i win percentage i do without in play lines, almost ALL the value here these days unless you get early team news etc

I don't use a count...if mean counting cards like the movie 21?
I just play the right way, make the dealer bust. You have 14, dealer is showing 6, you STAY....you have Ace, 5...dealer showing 5, you double. Etc.....
Only been playing, or gambling BJ for 10 yrs. So ya, you got me there.
It's just best to stay away from on-line casino's
This is basic strategy, and if you play it pefectly you're still at a disadvantage to the house, albeit a very small disadvantage though.
Add in a card counting method and now you have the advantage over the house when the numbers are right.

Its fun for those first few hands and then because you know its rigged and maybe your in the middle of a winning streak and your going to catch it while its good you increase your bet and wha la you got nothing
Between that and being to impulsive I dont do anything online anymore

tbone, that's what I do when I feel like going dogracing, I just mail them a check for $135 (my average loss) and stay home. I have played online craps for money once, got down and then came back to even and quit. Never again have I played online for real money. With no regulation of course they are going to cheat you. Without fail. You might win a little but with the actual odds against you plus the fact that they are cheating you do not have a chance. Get another hobby.

Especially do not play online blackjack right after a big game cause there are lot of sports bettors trying to make up for losses and the online casinos are ready for them!!!
