Your name is the biggest trigger. If you don&#x27;t have a American or Western sounding name be prepared to get flagged. Ever since 911 everyone who has a Middle eastern, Russian, East/South Asian sounding name has been getting flagged with quickness.

Keep the amounts $500 or under I&#x27;d say and not too frequently. maybe like 1-2 times per month.I think you&#x27;re more likely to get flagged if you send money out constantly, but can&#x27;t confirm that.MG will red flag faster than WU in my experience.

Costa Rica, Nicaragua, Philippines.Those are the red flags. Why is "Joe Smith" from Podunk, Iowa continually sending money to Jose Gonzales Fernandez Gonzales twice a month? Then to Wi Lu Lan once a week.That "Joe Smith" sure is a worldly fellow.

I had to sent a WU deposit to Nicaragua one time. I couldn't believe the sender's name.

It was Juan Antonio Rodriquez Lopez Enchilada Chipotle Gomez.

I'm like is this his real name? Darn, I couldn't fit all the names in the first and last name field.

It took WU&#x9; 9 yrs to figure out I just might be sending $$ to a offshore book, I added a letter to my last name and changed my first name to a similar sounding name...no problems yet.... I used to take a WU frm 5Dimes 2 times monthly. I have only had to re-up once in the past 12 months, and for only $300, so i&#x27;m good with it.

Happend to 2 brothers i just became friends with they lived in NYC and both were heavy hitters with the greek they got banned closed accounts the greek accused them of being a syndicate or involved with mob ...LOL thats why one brother moved to vegas and now the other is joining him because he's sick of high R E taxes in N Y .
