I don't think he said it was his last $150....

Disagree with that statement completely. $150 to somebody might mean the same as $15,000 to another person. It's all relative in gambling. He will get the same thrill out of trying to build that $150 up as somebody who can afford to gamble more.
And besides it's not how much you bet , it's how much you win.
I used to hang out at horse tracks alot and the regulars would always make fun of the $2 bettors or $5 bettors. I used to tell them, "who's better off, that grandma over there that bet $2 dollars to show on a horse and won 10 cents, or your sorry azz that bet $500 on the same race and won nothing?"
The guys with the big mouths that brag about how much they bet are probably the ones losing their houses.

You missing the point. How many people that gamble are actually making money anyway? Maybe 1 percent? Doesn't matter if somebody has $20,000 to bet or $20 bucks. Both guys are going to end up at ZERO. And the guy betting $20 bucks can have just as much fun because as I said above it's all relative. That $20 bucks means just as much to him as $500 means to the other guy.
I mean let's keep it real. Almost everybody is losing. It's a question of how much you want to lose.

And how much has your bankroll increased since 1996? In 12 years how much money have you made gambling?
