The one thing i like about it is their sportsbook list, you can quickly scoll down the list, click on any book you want and check it out yourself.
As for the rankings, i think they seem to favour books out of costa rica. I personally don't deal with books from there.

Can't understand why anyone would consider OSGA a joke or not take total advantage of their help. I think they've been around for like 10 years or more?
As I recall if you get into a legit dispute with a sportsbook you have absolutely NO LEGAL RECOURSE to help you. In plain language..you're screwed. At least OSGA will personally hear your case, check it out with the book, act on your behalf if correct and get back to you with an answer. You're not guaranteed to win your case but they saved my ass twice over the years. And I learned something in the process.
The book rankings are generally reflections of payment security and customer service. I just keep up with OSGA's current rankings of the books..which I find do change and are updated. I couldn't care less whether books operate out of Costa Rica, Panama, Antigua or Mars. Till we can hire a US attorney within US laws, what's the difference?
Anyway...I can get odds and opinions anywhere, including here. At least I can go to OSGA for HELP.

This is why this site sucks at times. You make this blunt statement, but give no basis for it. Do you have any experience with them? I have and they were helpful. It's a good site to see who is on their blacklist.

I think they are very good. But I do have a problem with thier advertising of touts on the site which started a year or so ago. I got in touch with about it and they almost acted like they got thier hand caught in the cookie jar. Also they were pushing a book or two, which is like Consumer Reports allowing advertising when they rate products. Which they won't do.
But overall I like them and think they do a real good job.

Yeah, I think the handicapping touts are a way to raise some revenue $ to keep going. Like any business I can't fault them for needing some capital to run an operation. To me it's unrelated to my far more important needs...keeping up-to-date on the intergrity of an unregulated online gambling industry.
Remember, Consumer Reports also charges for their magazines and to buy subscriptions. They're not run by the government or a non-for-profit organization. Ironically, some info I got there recently also helped me with a best-buy hi-def TV I hope will last 10-15 yrs.
Same thing here. I have no beef with OSGA makin' a buck. If they help me out of trouble or warn me of potential trouble, teriffic.
Unlike all these sportsbooks, at least I didn't have to worry about reading the fine print before joining.
