I am writing because I have had it with Heritage. I have had a few times
where I get the short end of the stick with deposit issues, wager
problems and now a bonus which leads to my complaint about a wager. I
will let you know I deposit small amounts in hopes to build it up,
usually around $50. Heritage has a rule that if you deposit 7 times your
8th is free (average of those 7) so I deposited 7 times and yes the
last 3 were back to back because I canceled my bank card in hopes to
stop gambling. My bet lost and I asked for my 8th deposit and they said
they were going to count the last 3 deposits as 1. They said I stacked
deposits, but there is no rule that states anything about that. So they
are refusing to give the 8th free. If a sportsbook treats me fair, I am
not going to BS with them and for the most part Heritage has treated me
fairly. Other books have slow paid or pulled BS rules as they go and I
haven't been fair back to them, I fully admit that. But to my complaint,
I made a bet on March 8th for Pepperdine and bought points. I placed
the bet even though the start time shows 11:45pm, I thought since the
game was on the board, they just hadn't adjusted the start time as can
happen with the tournament games. I placed the bet at 11:49:01 and went
to my tv to change it to ESPN2 and saw the game had already been playing
for a good 5 minutes. I didn't call to complain as I had contacted
Heritage a few weeks back about an error in live betting within seconds
after placing it and they told me they couldn't do anything about it. So
I let it play out and it lost. I wouldn't even be bringing it up if
they hadn't pulled this BS about the deposits and the promo, but if they
want to follow rules or make them up as they go they need to follow
rules that they post. From their rules: 46. If the client has made a
mistake entering a play, the play can be deleted if:
a. The mistake is reported no more than 10 minutes from the time the wager was placed. b. The line has not changed. c. The wagered event has not yet begun.
d. There is no new information on player(s), coaches, weather, or
referees that may have an effect on the outcome of the event.

how did I know it had started. I had just lost money on a game on another channel and was following the UCLA game on FS1 and they were in another pending bet I had. I went to the website to see what was left and saw Pepperdine was still up. I glanced at the season series and saw they were pretty competitive with ST Mary's and decided to buy a few points. Stop trolling Joanne about stuff you don't know what you are talking about. As far as the deposits I did do them back to back because there were no rules that you couldn't and if they had a rule like that then they shouldn't have gone through. I put that money in, then requested my card be closed because I plan on those being my last deposits and since I was only those deposits away from getting my 8th free I decided to split them up.

there is the other bet that I was following on FS1. When UCLA started to look like crap, I panicked, went to the site and saw Pepperdine was still up and I think Hawaii as well. I decided to look at Pepperdine. Keep in mind also I didn't complain after the game because even though after placing it and changing the channel and seeing it had already started, I didn't have a problem with that. But my problem is if they want to make up rules about deposits that do not exist in writing, why don't we follow a rule they actually do have in writing. c. The wagered event has not yet begun. If they had just given me the 8th deposit free I WOULD HAVE BEEN FINE WITH IT. But now they want to pull this, I want them to follow all the rules. It just so happens this bet falls under rule C. up there and was a few days before. Also a couple weeks before I placed a live bet where I think they just switched it at the last second and I contacted them ASAP to let them know and they told me they couldn't do anything. I even posted about it after it happened. There is a history of them screwing me over. I am just tired of it.

note even on that post I make it clear that I don't think Heritage is a dirty book. But this deposit BS makes me feel differently. So if they want to make up rules, let's follow all the rules that are actually posted.

"Funds from two or more separate deposits may not be used to wager upon the same event. Splitting a deposit into smaller ones is deemed "stacking". Any "stacking" of deposits, in order to take advantage of the 8thfree is prohibited and will result in them being counted as one."

That wasn't there the other day. I assure you. They are just covering their tracks.

they even gave it to me, then turned around and took it away. I chatted with them and asked where was it a rule and the guy never said a word. They added that since I filed my complaint. I have done it before and no problem.

I know I didn't email it to them and it's a little bit coincidental it happened less than 24 hours after I file my complaint. Feel free to click the link to investigate.

so they said they would give me the 8th deposit as I 'should have been warned before' but wasn't what a shock. So we will see what happens about the rest. But it's funny had they just done this to start with I wouldn't have said anything more and would have never mentioned the Pepperdine bet, but it's the principle now. That plus the live bet that I contacted them about as soon as I saw the bet I placed wasn't the one I clicked on. Their rules state if you contact them within 10 minutes, it was within seconds. Let's see if they really want to follow their rules or just shrug them off.

spoke to someone and they treated me fairly. I want to stress also for the majority of my dealings with Heritage sports has been very very good, 95% of them good. But the 5% has stunk. But in the end we came to an agreement and I and they are satisfied. If anything changes I will post here. But wanted to be fair and report good and bad.
