Guys, stop bashing and putting blind faith in any site or recommended list. Judge everything on the results. Covers was obviously way ahead of the curve on Bodog. It just brought on Legendz which is one of my most trusted and favorite books. Getting paid fast is going to be a issue going forward, but getting paid period is the most important thing. Just remember that.
If one of their books go under then we have every right to go after Covers. Until then I'm cutting them some slack on where they lead us. It's worked out for me so far.
All the best and good luck!
Agree. I'll go with Covers list before any other site on the web. They have the industry 'street cred' to back up what they are telling us.

I would like to hear someone from Covers tell me that there is no money exchanging hands in regards to the sportsbook rankings (no advertising dollars, etc). Flat out, what's your stance on this?

I think you are way off track. I cant imagine anybody taking money for advertising their product on a web site.
Oh my god I think you just came up with a brand new idea. Do you want to go into business together. Lets call this advertising.
So it's ok to take advertising dollars from sportsbooks, then create what appears to be an unbiased "Top Ten Sportsbook" list that includes the same sportsbooks? How is that any different from viewing a dining website that boasts to list the "Top Ten Mexican Restaurants" in Los Angeles, only to notice that all ten have ads/promotions on the same site? Dude, this is basic stuff...it's why, for example, the best reviewers pay for their own meals; they don't want there to appear to be any favoritism/bribes. How hard is that to grasp?

believe it or not, advertising is a good indication of the health of a online gaming property. it means they have the financial capacity to attract new customers. it means the customers they attract like playing at that location, which means they're doing a good job servicing the customers. they would not advertise if they were not making a solid return.
again, this is our list. this is what I said in another post;
Come on everyone. I can't stand coming into this forum and seeing a
big, bloody pissing contest between the regulars, the moderators, the
in-the-know posters, the advertisers and the affiliates shills.
I've
said it time and time again - this is a forum to help sports bettors,
and they need help right now. The market is a pretty crazy place these
days and there are big differences in the books out there.
My
god, if I had know the list would've cased this much back and forth
vile I never would have put the list up. We're going to give everyone a
chance at making own list in the future. This should help.
As
for our list....it's our list....we've been in the business long enough
to have a list. People might not agree with the list, people might say
it's just people who pay, people might say it's a crappy list....We're
OK with it as I'm all about free speech. We take the list serious
because if one of our recommended books goes under what do you think my
valued Covers customers would think. I don't take my customers for
granted.
I'm sorry if your favorite book is not on the list.
It's probably because we don't know the owners or haven't done much
business with this book in the past. I'm sorry other watchdog sites if
my list doesn't match yours. I mean no disrespect I just have a
different opinion, but again, I'm allowed to have a different opinion
aren't I....I also think my opinion is a pretty good one considering my
experience.
In closing, let's get back on message here. You guys
should be discussing good promotions, good payment methods and places
where the lines are weak. These types of threads I've seen over the
last couple of months gets us no where.

In the spirit of discoslure, why don't you label the "Top 10 Sportsbooks", as "Top 10 Advertisers Sportsbooks"? That way, there is no perception of deception.

ok that scares me a little. I just requested a payout today for 3K and you barely got yours this week from a May request???
did you have to follow up with them consistently.
