What is going on at 5dimes...this is insane

I always backed 5dimes but something is wrong with this book after what they are putting me through trying to withdraw funds through western union

At 2 PM yesterday, they gave me a name from Phils and Control #. When I went to collect WU would not give me the funds and said I needed the senders phone number!!!This never happened before in many years.

I called 5dimes and they said to call back in 2 hours while they check into it and resolve it. This went on ALL day...call back in 2 hours until they said call back in morning. I just called and they said they sent me an email "which I never got" and now they are telling me the transaction was finally cancelled but it will take a 5-6 days to get my money!!!!!

Now I'm taking all my money out but need another book "that is not in Costa Rica" and has same lines as 5dimes,. especially -1 lines in MLB and NHL

I sent a lot of people to 5dimes but wanted you all to be aware of this very unusual situation.

I just spoke with Vivian (manager at 5 dimes) and looks like WU is the problem!!!
Once the cancellation goes through, which could take 3-5 days, the money will be refunded to my account, plus $35 fee for $500 transaction, and I will use Money Grams to collect my winnings and post an update.

I was gonna say that it sounded like a WU problem and not 5 dimes.  Keep us posted.  I'm very curious.

Problem resolved.I got the money through Money Grams today. The problem was with Western Union and I have to stop using them for a while.I'll only use MG or checks on next payouts for a while.

5dimes has always been my favorite book and will continue using them.

I don't understand comment about "they are located in California" I thought they were in Costa Rica

WU & The Depertment of Justice have recently gotten married, by this time next year every illegal sportsbook transaction involving WU will be terminated, and all previously transactions will be prosecuted under federal law..Remember; take it for what it is, regardless of how non-serious players may believe, "it is highly illegal to place a sports wager on-line from an IP coming out of the USA, plus sending, and receiving funds via the USA to overseas accounts. the alternative? simply use a Canadian forwarding system, which every book in the world is connected to "legally"

i will be withdrawing from 5dimes this week.  shoudl I use WU or Moneygram?

 hoops, I think sending WU and withdraw MG works best, however, you can withdraw up to 2500 thru WU at 5dimes..


Anyway, 5dimes is safe and still my favorite book. If you limit your WU and MG transactions, you will be better off....wait for larger payouts.

Regarding Canadian forwarding system...no clue!! Never heard of it.
