What would you do...

So I have a friend from this site, that I placed some wagers through.  I wont mention his name, and he isn't to blame in this situation.  He was given a $2k/week credit line through a local a friend of his had turned him onto.

2 weeks ago - Before I started wagering with him, my buddy lost $1800 and paid on time.

1 week ago - He won $300 for the week, and bookie paid on time.

This last week - When I started wagering with my buddy, we took him for $4k...

Current week - We were up $1k one day in, and the "bookie" has basically shut my boys account down and told him he couldn't wager anymore.  Shitty part is, he's telling my buddy that he wont be paying the $3800 from last week.

The site in which the wagers are made, is clearly a site that multiple agents use...so what do we do?  I'm on the otherside of the country, and have no problem reporting the website when some idiot tries to stiff...but don't want my buddy fearing for his life. Haha.

I'm not expecting to see a dime of this $$.  My friend we'll call him J..is basically being told by his buddy (Who turned him onto the bookie) that turning this guy in is not smart...saying the bookie is like Harlem Mafia...lol.

Whole situation sounds shady man.

#1 What kind of bookie has a pph site account and shuts someone down after winning 5k total?

#2 Why is he stiffing you? I mean the guy has a net gain of $1500 on you right now.

You have some good leverage to basically force this guy to pay up. Turn him in to the people that own the pph website or dime what he is doing to the IRS. I don't know any bookie that doesn't fear the IRS, they can fuck your life up digging into your finances. I'm not sure either of those are legitimate threats though, guy sounds like a wannabe bookie honestly.

Local cops won't care just FYI unless there are threats involved.

People that are in any kind of "mafia" won't stiff anybody. Too much rides on their reputation. If he is, the man he kicks up to will pay you and kick his ass for disgracing the family if he finds out. True wiseguys pay always.

Which is exactly what I told my buddy.  If he was "Harlem Mafia" $4k in payout wouldn't be shit.  And, I've looked at the site...and can't find a contact us linke anywhere to even report the idiot.  So I assume I'd have to use some IP Tracker on the site to even find out where it's based out of.

What an idiot...

And my 13 year old son has this friend of his, they made a $5 wager about the Packers going 16-0.  My son won the bet, but his frien won't pay.  What should he do?
