Looking to withdrawal over 20K from Heritage. I know they offer check and MG/WU options.
For those who use Heritage and have had to do something similar, is it best to just request checks? I have a feeling doing max MG/WU requests will get me blacklisted by both companies. Would I be correct?

i have same issue, and asked about cashiers checks. Which really seems to be NOT the way to go. You have a certain time period to cash them, and in my case I had to wait weeks to receive them. When I questioned Heritage about this, they gave me the runaround. So i would also like to know, the best way to collect a large sum ?

most good books will offer a bank wire for amounts over 10K. you can get the whole 20K in one payment. They will likely charge you a hefty fee... but if you want your money, you'll have to get over the fee. If Heritage doesn't offer this, find a new book

I don't know about doing a 20k wire transfer. That damn well has to be reported to the IRS, just fyi.
If you're patient, one thing heritage is great about is letting you send wu and mg to friends/relatives. So if you have a wife, gf, good buddy, etc that is willing to pick up for you a couple times a month, you can spread the money around, not raise any red flags and still get paid thousands a week. The fees add up, but no matter how you withdraw that's just the price you pay for moving large amounts of cash internationally.
I have done wire transfers with them, had issues with one, and then for a long time they weren't available. Also done checks, I think one had a month hold put on it, others were fine.
Only real issue is once they offered me $1,000 cashier's checks and they were written on moneygram. But moneygram wouldn't cash them because they were "too large and couldn't be authenticated". Horrible experience on that one.

Like 5dimes, I think they limit you to 2 checks per week but you can also do p2p everyday as well. Last year recieved a larger payout by asking to speak to a mgr. GL
