I'm starting a thread to see what erroneous lines that you've gotten in the past (within the past year) that actually got paid. If possible please include:
-Date of the game (may not be possible)
-Current score
-Team
-The obvious line that it SHOULD have been
What NOT to include:
-The book used (We don't want them correcting these payouts!)
-The amount wagered (that's a private issue)
So, I'll start off first:
-Golden State in the 2019 NBA season was down 10 points at the half. For the 2nd half, I was refreshing quickly for the 2nd half odds and got Golden State +12 for the 2nd half! Obviously, they were supposed to be -12. After the system accepted my bet, a minute later, it changed to the correct -12
-The Blue Jays were at the Houston Astros and the score was 11-0 Jays going into the 8th on 6/16/2019. At the same time, the Angels were at Tampa bay, the score was 5-3 Rays and they were ALSO going into the 8th. The live odds "flashed" Tampa Bay +10 (-115) and I quickly locked it in for a larger than usual wager. After the 8th inning was finished, Houston did NOT score, the top of the 9th AGAIN flashed Tampa Bay +10.5 (+105) but I didn't bet that time. Sometimes, you don't want to get greedy hoping that the system doesn't find out about the errenous line. (Lotta money wagered on it + lotta people wagering on the errenous line = system picking up on it, thus refunding your bet(s)) Obviously, the +10 and +10.5 was for the Houston game but for some reason, the system was "confused" and had it for the Tampa game. Needless to say, my Tampa Bay +10 got paid out!
"Schrödinger's bet." A bet that loses when you bet it but wins when you DON'T bet it...

i understand the intention of the post to share wagering stories but did you ever think that anyone who actually tried to take advantage of a bad line is essentially a crook themselves.
