145 Black Churches Burned From 1995-1996

Of the 145 fires at African-American houses of worship that were investigated from 1995-99, the task force reported that whites made up 63 percent of those arrested. Thirty-six percent were African-American, and under 1 percent were Hispanic.

So ,,this article tells me ,,that although blacks Americans are 12.3 % of the population..they commit three times as many church fires as whites by percent of the population----as the white arrest percentage is about equal to their percent of the population ...very telling article ..thanks.
