Albert is trying to make up for lost time, when he and his wife, Deidre were complete asses in contract negotiations with the Cardinals, before he signed the huge contract with the Angels.

I am not even a Cardinals fan and realize that Pujols is an all-time great player, but the Cardinals were more than fair with their long-term offer at the time, yet Albert handled himself very poorly and was completely classless regarding the negotiations.
